Care to elaborate, I'm genuinely curious.

 

Great interview. Which there was a toughest category. Nice info though, I enjoy hearing from Dundee.

 

Because his lovebird Burt went out of his way to bad mouth Muhammad Ali.

It's nothing personal against Dempsey, Ali was pretty much better than the lot of them at his brilliant best.

 

so saying he feels leonard was better is bad mouthing..your a ****ing ******

 

maybe...who the **** really knows to be honest..klitshcko might smash them all...but lets be honest....burt just said that he thought leonard was better then ali..its a fair statement..then manbearpig makes some random statment about dempsey...and you call burt a old?

Ali was style over substance? He didn't throw punches and could absorb inhuman amounts of punishment? He simply danced without throwing punches, and was all "glitz"?

Leonard in his prime was certainly the real McCoy, but feeling the need to point this out also sounds to me like he was implying Ali wasn't.

I suppose we could all interpret this differently, but it sounded to me like Burt went out of his way to discredit The Greatest.

im not so worried about dempsey..he is dead..and was a great man then anyone posting here..my point is manbearpig is being a dick to a new ESB'er..and your defending the little ******

 

Burt has been around ESB for a fair while now, I keep having to read his trivia threads about fighters beyond the grave. Cool little threads, out of my jurisdiction, though.

I think Burt went out of his way to discredit Muhammad Ali and sold him short by implying he wasn't the real deal. That's what I took from it, so regardless of how old he is, or how much longer he's been walking around than I have, I tend to understand where the manbearpig is coming from.

 

first off...you can have a debate without making random comments about someones age..i doubt burt was alive when dempsey was alive you...ps...if ali did do allot of **** that wasnt that good...but whether burt is partially right..or partially wrong..or all right..or all wrong..doesnt excuse manbearpig for being a ******* to a great fighter..just making mocking comments about dempsey (what burt said about ali was not mocking) and then mocking a new poster. and it also doesnt excuse you defending manbearpig
