Screw Chisora for hyping the chase of David Haye. He was not rated as of last month. His name has never hit the ink as a rated man. Even now, they debate whether or not to take the fight?

Chauncy Welliver is the only man out there stepping up to the plate. He is Top 10 already. 54 HW Fights, 311 rounds and he has never been down a single time.

Stand up with me and support Welliver for having the biggest set of balls in the HW division today. 10 years ago he was slugging it out in the gym with a monster Shannon The Cannon Briggs...as a 17 year old boy. I want to see back to back shots at bringing the titles to the USA. Though Welliver may also leave 1 in New Zealand. :bbb

    Make the fight Wladimir

The way I see it is that Briggs is undeserving of a title shot. Fact. That does not mean that just because he is undeserving, other underseving fighters should have the opportunity to fight for a title. that will only contribute to the mess that is he heavyweight division and the overall problem with boxing. Chauncy, good fighter or not, has not beaten ANYONE that would or should put him in title contention. Thats not a knock on him. Just a fact. I dont blame Chauncy for going after a title, but even Zack Page has a better argument for getting a title shot. And im being serious when I say that. Beat somebody, anybody, first.

Gotta strike while the iron is hot Champ. You are still in this! :bbb

You are the highest rated challenger available and certainly have an argument over Chisora. You are also the only guy in the world who is on record for taking the fight and whatever purse they are offering.

Even if somebody else winds up with the contract they may still call you when the challenger catches a sinus cold or bladder infection.

The fight is still up for grabs. Chauncy is the only reasonable HW out there.

Chisora and Warren....negotiate what? You take what they offer or gtfo here. Mormeck priced himself out....are you kidding me?

Wlad is handing out an opportunity of a lifetime here. Nobody besides Welliver have been saying the right things.

Direct Quote from Chauncy Welliver....."I will sign the contract and then you can fill the rest out."

We need more guys with that kind of attitude. This is the biggest prize in sports.

He's a good guy and he's stayed very active, credit to him for that, but he's done nothing to deserve a shot. Neither has Chisora really, but even he deserves a shot ahead of Welliver. I'm sorry, but he hasn't even managed to clear out his own domestic scene yet seeing as he hasn't even fought the likes of Leapai or Cameron. And he's nowhere near the top 10.

Cameron is down to CW. Lepai could be a great regional fight. Tua could also be a great fight. Travis Walker has a name down there and Chauncy taking his massive blows while out pointing him would be a nice notch for him.

I don't know where you go with a guy who has a huge chin and makes other guys look bad even if they win. Everybody knows he can take a huge punch and go the full 12 rounds. He is really crafty, especially for a 27 year old.

Who will step up and make a fight with him? I did not expect Wladimir to but if Chisora and the UK crew keep getting shots, then I'm tossing Welliver's name in there. He needs 1 big win to be 100% as legitimate as everyone else who has recently fought for the title. He doesn't need anything more than that.

He is technically already qualified to fight for the titles with his rankings, he has lots of activity, he has lots of experience, he is fully established as a 12 round championship fighter. That distance is a killer but he goes it all the time now.

IMO Chisora only has an argument because he had a little more opportunity than Chauncy.

But you can't argue with what Welliver has done since coming back. He has a great trainer in Joe Hipp, a great manager in Roland, has lost 40 pounds since his Solis fight. #10 WBO #16 WBC....he's paying the fees to get in line, winning and defending their regional titles. A big name fight will come eventually as long as he stays on this path.
