    And I can't recall one -not one- point they've made that carried more weight than this lint I'm picking off my sock.

    Make heart even and you have my list.

    Chin is the next closest one that could go either way.

    I'm surprised most are picking Duran for punching power here. I would have thought Mosley had the advantage here.

    Duran at lightweight was on par with the likes of Wilfredo Gomez and Olivares for power imo.Mosley was no slouch either mind you, but i prefer the chins Duran cracked or rocked than the ones busted by Mosley.

    Yes beating the weakest middleweight champion at the time. By split decision at the time was a great accomplishment.
    IBF = Michael Nunn
    WBA =
    Sumbu Kalambay
    WBC = Iran Barkley.
    The only thing Barkley ever had going for him was that he had Thomas Hearns number.
    I'm going to take a guess at your response.
    Duran was 37 and there fore old, and it was not at his natural weight.
    First of all age is a number. Greats like Archie More, Jersey Joe Wallcott. Ray Robinson and Bernhard Hopkins have shown that if you keep your body in shape. You can win at the highest levels in to your late 30's and early 40's. Secondly there is no such thing as natural weight. It is very unlikely that a 37 year old is going to weigh what he did when he was 27. There is a reason that boxers out grow their weights. It is not lazyness. As we get older it becomes harder to lose all that weight no matter how hard we work. If there is such a thing as natural weight than at 37, 160 was more likely his natural weight than 135 or 147.

    I like Duran by SD. Mosley will give Roberto all he can handle though.

    i'm more surprised that people are giving the hook edge to mosley. duran threw a ****ing sweet left hook to the head and body.

    I used to say Mosley would beat Duran, but he would have to fight the perfect fight and not fight too much on the inside. He is a fast inside fighter, but his movement around the ring was never that great. He was just fast, but if he was in Duran's range it might not be great for him. The guys who did well with Duran were out of range and used speed to move away. Even Hearns used his reach to not get hit and then counter. If you did that with Duran you could win.

    Duran is by far the more skilled, better defense, better boxer and thats why he could compete up in the higher divisions not because of his strength/chin/power, Mosley has those 3 and speed on Duran. Duran beats him though

    Yeah, you forgot to mention that Barkley dwarfed the old man, and despite hitting Duran with his Sunday punches, could not come close to stopping him.

    Barkley would later be campaigning and winning titles as high as 175lbs.

    So what you're trying to say is Barkley was weight drained, or is it only Duran that can sudder from weight drain :D
