Seen a few articles around the web about Khan facing Mayweather in Spetember next year if the pac fight doesnt happen. Richard Schaefer is the one saying this, so im just going to talk it with a pinch of salt. He's probs just trying to talk up khan so more people take notice in the US and watch his next fight.

What you guys think? Bull****? or do you think it could happen.

there's the sky sports link, but there are others out there reporting the story.

I think its a good motivator for Khan, Richard telling Khan if you can beat Maidana then the winner of Bradley-Alexander then we will give you a $20m pop at Floyd.

Khan is going to train like a mad man, i feel sorry for Maidana.

Even if Mayweather doesnt fight between now and this fight i feel he has it in the bag, as he is 2 or 3 levels above Khan. Maybe this just a way for GBP to say Mayweather Ducked Khan, when mayweather gets sent down after his 1283930 charges against him right now.

Khan needs to be thinking about Maidana not someone he might fight in 3 bouts time. I doubt he'll beat Maidana. Shaefer's just talking Khan up.

I think Khan has as good a chance of beating floyd as anyone other than Pac.

    nonsense.

he just getting more publicity for khan. it goes like this:

Schaefer: "Mayweather will fight Khan after Khan wins this next 2 fights"

Fat American: "huh, Khan you say? Say aint he that young brit guy from englerland, in London...? say, ive heard hes good, i might buy this PPV now"

money in GBP pocket when Khan schools maidana but he wont face bradley anyway i think

I think Schaefer has his methods and ways of manipulating things to shine a better light on Golden Boy , a man in his position wouldnt be doing his job if he wasnt right ??? , reading between the lines on this one , you would have to ask yourself " why not "

Would Mayweather dish out a career ending beating on Khan ??? IMO NO , is Khan too small for Mayweather ??? , again IMO NO , does Khan have a realistic chance of beating Floyd ??? the cinic would say hell NO , but one would have to agree , Khan would make this fight interesting , something that Floyds last 3 opponents havent been able to do :deal , i think this statement says that Golden Boy see Khan as the future of there brand , i think they beleive he's that good .

This fight really has no long term damage implications on Khan from a marketing angle or really from a fighting angle , i mean hell what happens if Khan goes in there loses 9 of 12 rounds gets wobbled once or twice and ultimatley gets out classed , well ...................... nothing really exept a whole lot of Mayweather fans saying i told you so , Khan being paid very hansomely , going away with his tail between his legs and finding himself on that growing list of fighters being given a boxing lesson from Mr Mayweather :good

    Khan bts Maidana
    Khan bts Alexander/Bradley
    Khan v Mayweather

is more likely than when Hatton was saying

    Hatton bts Malignaggi
    Hatton bts Pacquaio
    Hatton bts Mayweather

But its never wrong to have goals/plans. For what its worth if Khan fulfils his potential (and unifies LWW) I don't think it is unrealistic whatsoever

Floyd gives Khan the first few rounds, thinking he would adjust and start timing him, but at near 35 Floyd was not the same fighter and Khan keeps up the high workrate and his great fast jab, Floyd finds it hard to counter Khan due to his speed and workrate.

Khan shocks the world and wins a UD over Floyd Mayweather :yep:hey
