I think he and Khan are the true stand outs of the division, in terms of skill. I like Bradley but I think he has a lot of faults and I just don't see him progressing any further. I think he's reached his limit and he isn't progressing like a young champion should, I don't think.

As for Alexander, I think he proved his lack of talent against Kotelnik, who was perfect for him.

I imagine Ortiz would stop Bradley and possibly Alexander late too. The Maidana loss was bad but it's what some fighters need. In my opinion, Ortiz is a better fighter for it and in the next couple of years, he will prove his doubters wrong. He's a class fighter with good physical abilities. In this weak division, I think he can rule it.

Ortiz is very talented and well rounded, but for me he doesn't excell in any particular area. I think he would beat Alexander, but Bradley and Khan are something else. Ortiz unfortunately cannot stick to the gameplan, he get's too agressive and makes himself an easy target. He did this against Maidana, and even when he blew out Harris he was taking unneccesary shot's trying to finish the old man off. Ortiz lacks discipline, something Khan has in droves under Roach, and something Bradley has improved in.

The Ortiz who quit against Maidana and ran against the blown up SFW? He has skills but not the intangibles and I'm not even convinced he has better skills. Ortiz isn't stopping Bradley in a million years

I just want to see them mix it up before Ortiz outgrows 140lbs.

He may have a chance but I dont think he can pull it out...He's a talented fighter but I think Bradley will overwhelm him with his activity...It all depends on which Alexander shows up.

As it stands...I'll give him a better chance against Alexander than Bradley.

I would agree based on skills alone, infact I think Bradley is punching above his weight, as in, he is maximizing his talent at the moment, however im not sure how much more he can improve, he is not gifted in physical stature or power, but he does have tons of heart, decent/good Boxing brain on him, plus he is pretty quick, just a good well rounded fighter, albeit he does not excel in any area aside form heart.

I was never sold on Alexander to be honest.

The only reservations I have about Ortiz and Khan, is their durability, infact according to Doug Fischer he has been down in sparring a few times, I also saw him get hurt on a Dela Hoya undercard against someone named Dairo Esalas.

Ortiz really cannot be mentioned with the Champions in the divsion yet. He beat two shot fighters in Campbell and Harris, and has yet to lose the 'no mas' tag around his neck.

"Weak Division"? How do you arrive at the conclusion this is a weak division? Secondly, you are talking about Ortiz as if he's the undefeated champion, he's not he's a quitter. The difference between he and Alexander is that when posed with adversity one battled on and gutted out a fight, one quit on his stool because it got too hard. There is no logical reason that you would say he is better than Bradley and I don't really see how this can be debated, what has Bradley done or not done that would lead you to believe that Ortiz is better? In reference to Khan, we soon shall see, but the bottom line is he got KO'd by a fringe contender in the 1st round...Bradley and Alexander neither one have suffered this fate. I don't dispute that Ortiz is a good fighter, and really I like him fine, but how you assume that "he's better" for quitting in a tough fight is beyond me, I would think logically one would assume that not being a quitter would be condusive to being a good prize fighter. Either way I simply disagree.

would love to see Khan-Ortiz. What a barnburner.

But, Alexander will rise to the top of 140.

That's a good point he can not stay at 140 for too long. A year maybe and he should move up. He is huge for JWW

I like Ortiz and Alexander, but they are both very young.

I am hoping Ortiz is not mentally fragile. We will see. I think he has the talent and discipline to make it big.

Alexander has not been tested (like a KD or behind in points). His last fight was the closest and he became a bit sloppy. At least he did no "No mas" like Ortiz but he did not receive the same beat down like Ortiz did. We will see.

Ortiz vs Alexander is not a bad match up either.
