Wasn't that fight talked about when Macklin was the EBU champ last time. He was Matthew's mandatory.

It's funny how people had never seen Pirog before he beat the overrated Jacobs and now he would 'muller' Macklin, lol.

Going off each ones last performance that is the result that is most likely to occur. Hopefully Barker can get back to full fitness and they get that fight on.:good

yeah jacobs never really impressed tbh , for a fighter called the goldenchild he has been fairly average in the fights i have seen , average power , average skills and average chin ,pirog is one good boxer but macklin would do better than jacobs no doubt about that

People need to realise Jacobs was only a prospect himself, he just had the hype that made people believe he was a superstar. He struggled with Ishe Smith. I actually had Jacobs winning up till the KO. Also , Pirogs power isnt as good as that shot would make you believe. Its the only time ive seen him score a big ko like that. his footwork isnt all that either. He isnt the monster people make him out to be. Sure hed be favourite against Macklin but it wouldnt be as one sided as people are making out. Golovkin >>> Pirog IMO

If it is a title shot it will be Pirog. Sylvester and Martinez have fighters less than 6 weeks before December 11th and no way Warren has the budget to get Strum away from Germany with the other fights on the card.

I had seen Pirog before and predicted a Pirog win. He would beat Macklin

pirog has the tools to clean up the middleweight division, his style is very effective, can take a punch and has a good engine.

macklin should avoid this man and aim for sylvester which is a very winnable fight.

according to fightnews Ricky Burns will be on the December PPV Card and his will be defending his title against. drum roll.............

    Matt Zegan :patsch
Just when you thought Frank was coming into his own he serves this up as Ricky's first defence.
