His sparring partners are getting paid a lot of money. They are there to accomodate Pac. If Pac wears 14 oz gloves I dont see the problem with it. There isnt much difference getting hit with 14 vs 16 and his sparring partners. Plus, keep in mind he spars with naturally bigger men so it pretty much equalizes the difference. Its not a big deal.

 

I am one of those "cats" who has hit a bag, sparred, and fought in many bouts as an amateur. 16oz gloves are the norm, and the rules.

What's your original point about?

What's the sneaky, mysterious and illegal thing about MP using smaller gloves and his sparmates wearing bigger gloves?

How will that become something that will negatively affect Margarito, and become an unfair advantage for MP when they eventually fight?

its not outrageous at all. when i spar we only use 16 ounce gloves. anything else is uncivilized.
