LMAO Manny fights with 8 oz gloves and you think that Freddie is somehow worried about his chin holding up in sparring? Cmon man. Have a coffee and wake your ass up.

I'm not sure if it's regulated as in people will come around and check to see if it is being upheld (I wasn't there if they did anyway)...but if you were to try picking up your amateur coaching badges, I'm pretty sure this will be cemented into your brain. It has a lot to do with health and safety aswell I think, and it may depend were the gym is placed. If you have minors in your gym, and one gets hurt/seriously hurt through sparring...and the right equipment wasn't being used...your ****ed basically.

We've already established that 16oz gloves are standard sparring size, so that's half of your arguement gone already.

Now, how would using bigger gloves for sparring protect his chin when he's actually fighting for real? Please answer me that . . .

    :yep

You'd think Roach would be matching Manny with FAST figthers if Mayweather is their goal.

So you went from it is the rules that you have to wear 16s

To you think they may implement this into coaches training courses.

    Which one is it.

And yes i agree with people being injured something bad would happen to trainers.

    You havent established ****.

Wheres the document that says sparring must be in 16oz gloves.

It would be knocking his confidence if he got knocked out in sparring.
