Toney is my favourite of the three, and I am a fan of all three guys, but objectively, they must be ordered:

    Jones

    Hopkins
    Toney

Pachilles you embarrassed yourself there you moron. You said Hagler was better technically than Hopkins, you were challenged on that point, you then responded by saying Hagler would beat Hopkins on the basis of a styles match-up. WTF has that got to do with your original point?

And as pointed out above, you also implied Hopkins lacks technical ability, back in your cage indeed.

What are you talking about you mongoloid halfwits?? I never once said that Hopkins lacked technical ability. I said Hagler's technical ability was clearly superior. Stop trying to score Duran loving **** sucking points with each other.

On top of that, Jimmy Corkhill. I implied Hopkins would have a slight physical advantage but Hagler would beat him anyway, due to the technical advantage. Theres nothing unclear about what i said and its very consistant and relevant

The fact that you think that's a legitimate defence is probably more worrying than what you originally implied - at least you could have claimed sarcasm etc.

but the thing is....i didn't imply that at all you ****ing Brookside extra. Like i've already had to explain despite it being clear to understand for anyone not on drugs, i implied that only that Hagler is better technically

Anyway, it's very close as Hagler was a fine technician but that level of technical proficiency varied throughout different stages of his career, whereas Hopkins has been the most complete technician of his era consistently throughout his career imo.

His movement is better, his foot placement is better for leverage, his timing is better, the pace he enforces is more effective and consistant. His jab is better, his punch-out will be enough to secure victory convincingly. He's a more intelligent boxer altogether.

There's no chance in hell his footwork is better from a technical perspective. The ring generalship of Hopkins is off the charts. His footwork in every manner you could think of is amazing, whether it's on offence, defense, mid-ring domination, any. The man's footwork is all substance and no flash.
