Dana White is a big reason that mma is growing so fast. Would Dana White be able to raise boxing as well? He makes fights that people want to see happen & he even threatens to cut some of his top fighters from UFC, something we don't see much of in boxing.
How do you guys think Dana White would do in the sport of boxing?

well the fact that he's a failed boxing promoter should sort of imply it..

he's on another page with another sport he is trying to build... he would likely fail for boxing to make his grand intention look better...

Hes too emotional and boisterous to be a boxing promoter, he'll be calling Floyd a ducker or a coward by now and hence destroying any possiblty of the fight happening w/Pac

:deal. This .. He already tried it and wasn't successful..

  6. Dana is small time compared to Don King, Bob Arum, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather etc.

But i don't doubt for a second his promotional abilities, the man is beyond dedicated when putting in the work for a fighter, promotion, branding, constructing a business out of nothing and a future of where he wants the sport to go. Who knows what else happens behind the scenes.

Less freedom in boxing, more say from the fighter etc

The UFC have done well in building an organisation that markets itself as the NHL of MMA.

Have you ever seen Arum or King in action? White would fit right in. In fact a verbal fight between the two while they represent to boxers fighting would be interesting to watch.

Even guys like Shaw and Dibella get crazily emotional.

It's hard to break in and become a boxing promoter out of the blue. The ABC's are a mess and in all the different promoters pockets. He would have to have all the good fighters under 1 banner which isn't easy in boxing. But I'm sure he wouldn't promote Frauds like David Haye and let them duck guys for easier fights.

Dana White has cornered the MMA market. He’s a bonafied huslter no doubt. Let’s see how long he can keep all those fighters happy. Soon they will realize that they won’t be able to survive with out being a full time trainer at 24 hour fitness.
