    Well, its simple really.

They are fighting guys who are so far from P4P that it's not even worth mentioning.

Easy answer. Because he is a Champion of Bums.

Wlad is maybe 4th behind JMM, arguably 3rd. Certainly ahead of Paul Williams

Better than the LHW division, and Dawson was number 3 on a lot of people's list :deal

But Dawson also has GREAT skills. And his level of competition is still higher than Wlad's.

Pascal and Tarver alone are easily far more skilled than ANYONE Wlad has ever been in the ring with.

Dawson has also mastered every punch in the book. Something that can't be said about Wlad.

p4p means p4p, there is just a lull in the heavyweight division no real talent there right now, if these guys came down in size to welter and they had their skills do you think they would be on top. I'm not sure but anyway P4p is a subjective list anyway who cares if they are not on someone's list, they can be on yours all u want man.

I'm from eastern europe so I tend to support fighter from this region. Not because they are white. Ali is my all time favorite fighter, Pascal is an other of my favorite fighters (until he fights Bute that is). I do like the K brothers because of their skills and domination. My point was americans in general and blacks in particular don't like them because they are from eastern europe and white. So let me ask you this: do you have a dog in this fight?

And some free history lessons for you. This part of the world NEVER owned blacks as slaves.

You might say we have a chip on our shoulders. It's true and it has everything to do with how the west looks at eastern europe.

The reason is that they are freaking huge!
P4p is about disregarding size, and size is a good chunk of why they are good. Of course, someone will bring up some bum they defeated that was close is size, but the key word is bum. At the lower weight classes you have fighters taking on decent opponents of their own size, and using impressive skill sets to do so. And that is why little guys are higher regarded on a p4p basis.

So it is very possible to be an excellent heavyweight, yet also suckish p4p.

You didn't. I has giving you an example of an other fighter that uses his size that it's considered in top 5 p4p.

Paul Williams does a lot of things right, but he also has a tendency to wing his punches a bit, and his speed is not that great, plus his power is kind of lacking.

But he does have great intangibles and skills, but at the same time I think he slightly lost to Martinez, and I wouldn't put him in the PFP top 5.

But Paul also has a chin, which Wlad does not, he throws every punch in the book, and he's fought better opposition.

Cintron, Wright, and Margarito for starters. Winky Wright, enough said. Margarito was a huge threat at the time, rated on PFP lists (not top 10 of course), and had Floyd nuthuggers sweating bullets.

Cintron has all the tools to be great and packs a huge bomb for a right hand which should have been kryptonite for a tall BUT aggressive and unafraid fighter like Williams.

Who has Wlad fought that has threatened him recently? Peter? Chagaev? Please...

It goes both ways though. If Floyd was a Heavyweight I doubt he'd be as elusive or fast as he is. Also, his chin might not hold up if he's taking Heavyweight punches...............
