    Liakhovich made fun of Shannon's hair by calling him pineapple head or something like that. Shannon responded by calling him a racist and later admitted that he made the whole racist thing up just to sell tickets.

    Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling really was about race even though it wasn't the fighters themselves but the German government that supported Max because he beat Louis in their previous match & they claimed it was because he's the superior race. That's an entirely didfferent situation.
