    I have actually contemplated this matchup. Sturm had/has the ability to decision and possibly TKO Bernard Hopkins. He has highly polished boxing skills and fast hands which Bernard would simply have no answer for. Hopkins was nearly KO-ed by Calzaghe and would probably lose a 117-111 UD to Sturm.

    at least Sturm didint fight randy griffin 3 times....

    hopkins fought robert allen 3 times.....what a waste

    hopkins had a pretty weak resume for having 20 defenses ...not until the end of his reign did he have some good juicy welterweight names to add to it

    How can you say that? When Hopkins has fought decent fast 2 handed fighters his own size he has been beaten. Sturm matches that criteria and is a better fighter than Taylor who beat Hopkins twice

    Yeah, Javier Castillejo can beat Sturm...but the best MW of the past 15 years? No chance....because Sturm has FAST HANDS AND FAST FEET. :D
