Hopefully Del boy comes to fight rather than turn into a punch bag at least.

Fair play to him, nice to see a Brit fight one of them. Shame he's gonna get a hiding but if he gives a decent account of himself I'll sure Adamek's, Arreola's and others promoters will be on the phone regarding future fights.

Yep, **** whining about this fight. Wlad is getting old, Vitali is getting old, it's not a great era for heavyweights anyway. When Wlad and Vitali retire, who the **** else is there? Chisora may not get a payday or a chance like this in the future so ****in take it. He will lose but so what? As long as he doesn't get completely embarassed it's cool. He's still young. The future of the heavyweight division looks **** anyway. The division still has the Klits but they're not gonna be around forever so ****in take that chance now! **** waiting and learning. If he waits who's he gonna wait for in the future? Are there even gonna be any future superstars in the division? He's done the right thing.

Haye has been a ***** about the K brothers. He's totally contradicted his own grand words when he set out on his heavyweight career.

However, I don't think it's fair to compare Del Boy's situation to Haye's at all.

Del Boy has nothing to lose - he would get smashed by any decent heavy anyway and this fight offers the best money he will ever have earned and, whatever happens, works to boost his worldwide profile immeasurably guarenteeing future fights too.

Haye has an alphabet belt which he can turn into a nice little earner by picking and choosing WBA ranked fighters as long as he wants to milk it. His profile is already right up there. He stands to lose a lot if he gets beaten so is understandably more cautious. The games changes when you get to Haye's position.

Haye lost a lot of the respect, and good will, I had for him over this business the last year or so, but I don't see this fight as being here nor there as a reflection on him. No doubt that is what Wlad would be using it for but that's a rather simplistic way of seeing it.

People saying Chisora has nothing to lose and Haye has everything to lose is incorrect. In fact, it's bull**** is what it is. Chisora has an undefeated record to lose, and that 0 can totally change the way you are percieved. Look at Floyd. Chisora has future paydays to lose. If he gets humiliated it could affect him mentally for his future fights. One defeat and people start calling you a bum. Chisora is a young hungry fighter but he has the same balancing act to carry out as any other young boxer. Make the wrong move and it could **** up your career.

As for Haye, he doesn't have an 0 to protect, he's closer to the end of his career than the start, he's already made enough money to retire on and live comfortablly and he would make a shitload more with Wlad. Fair enough he lied and now wants to cash in some more but to say that Haye has more to lose than Chisora? **** that. People are trying to spin this in a way that fits their agenda. Chisora taking this fight will raise questions about Haye. People are trying to justify Haye ducking Wlad and trying to downplay Chisora's balls by saying "oh it's only cuz Chisora has nothing to lose". Total bull****. Give the guy some credit. This is what boxing needs.

Chisora, unlike Haye has not secured a future for himself.

The difference, as most people have said, is that Chisora has a good chance of losing that 0 as soon as he steps it up to face any kind of opposition beyond domestic level. He has nothing to lose in as much as he can cash in on it now, get the recognition and name on his resume and move on from there. It's better to have a loss to Wlad, and as many rounds as he can, than to lose to some European level fighter/faded journeyman. It is also as useful to have that loss than it is to get three more wins against domestic opponents.

Warren will know all of that; Del Boy becomes instantly more marketable. He gets a recognition he may never attain. We have no idea if he will be any good, nor how good he could be. So to have this chance now is win-win (lose).

While a defeat opens up a world of possibilities for Dely Boy, if Haye loses he has nowhere else to go - the K Bros fight is he be all and end all.

    Chisora won 14 (KO 9) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 14
    rounds boxed 63 KO% 64.29

    Wlad Klitchsko won 55 (KO 49) + lost 3 (KO 3) + drawn 0 = 58
    rounds boxed 273 KO% 84.48

    Terrible match up.:barf

im backing derek, he is a prize clown but hes entertaining and a decent fighter but hes going to get badly spanked here. i think he gets ko'd big then wont face fury for at least a year...in that time fury will take the brit title that chis will vacate and possibly push past him as a prospect...as long as he isnt with hennesy.

    too early for chisora

Wlad beats Del Boy easily, but major props to Chisora for taking this fight if it happens. Hopefully he'll put up a bit of a fight and make things interesting for a few rounds. It does make a certain Mr Haye look like even more of an idiot.

I don't think this reflects on Haye at all.

Aside from that, I just wish this was in England. I'd hop to London to see Klitschko fight. Love him or loathe him he's a cracking boxer who would have most likely prospered in any era.
