At 30+ wins I'm pretty sure he would be on the radar, don't fool yourself.

It was trendier to hate him 1-2 years ago, when he was putting in lackluster performances while getting pushed by the Top Rank shysters as the main attraction of their primarily rip-off Latin Fury cards, and plainly didn't even want to be boxing.

Since he began taking the sport seriously, training at the Wild Card, and really optimizing his talent as he did against Duddy, hating on him now is actually kind of passé. "New" Chavez Jr. haters are just poseurs who missed the party.

If someone still hates him who's been hating him for years, I guess I can't really knock that.

Fight someone instead of having people question your resolve. Real simple. Buck up or stfu. **** or get off the pot.

Talking like a biased Mexican fighter fan. The other guy is right, if Chavez didn't have his dad Last name, he wouldn't be known at all. You pretty sure? lol. Was Valuev well known when he had a record 42-0 before facing Ruiz? Was Mosley well known when he had a record 34-0 before facing De la hoya?

#1 40+ fights and ur still busy padding you record and not bettering yourself against solid opposition.. can't take you seriously...

#2 he looks like a younger version of j-lo's husband... who looks like a younger spanish version of steve buscemi...

    #3 he's ranked #1 by the WBC at middleweight..... REALLY................REALLY............... C'MON~!! How~?? Over PAUL WILLIAMS~!!?? Or even MATTHEW MACKLIN~!? Even FERNANDO GUERRERO~??

    I HATE HIS FACE~!!

His fights are actually kinda fun to watch, but on PPV.... REALLY~!!.............REALLY~!!

Quite a few people hate him because they were not impressed...the fans in Mexico have been calling for Canelo to knock him out for the last 2 years.

plus his father has been a major a-hole hitting reporters and workers in the ring. The Chavez name has gone down in value. During a Soto fight he lost it and began to yell at the other broadcasters.

Don't know about SNV, But Mosley was well regarded way before the Oscar fight, bad comparison.

What makes you think he would have so many wins if he weren't Chávez's son?

You can be sure he wouldn't. His opponents wouldn't have been carefully picked, that's a fact. The kid sucks, plain and simple.

Because he isn't as good as people so desperately want him to be. Same goes for Haye, Arreola, Berto, Lacy, on and on and on.
