Pacman exposed "sparring partners have to wear 16 ounce gloves"

You do not wear 8 oz. gloves while sparring. Nobody does who has good sense.

I really do not get why this thread got 18 pages of replies. Sparring is just sparring, and if you believe that something may help you in preparation for upcoming fight, you just do it.

Even if Pac decides to use only 16 oz red gloves with black laces, it would be only strange at best. I do not see how this can expose anything.

Is the OP ******ed? 16 oz gloves is standard glove weight for sparring. Sounds like you've never been in a gym in your life.

I will say this, I think Pac could be more fair and wear 14-16 oz too, not wear 8 oz gloves and have his sparring partners wear 16 oz gloves. Remember alot of sparring partners have become world champions and ATG in different weight classes ( Holmes, Oliver McCall, etc).
