That is exactly what Wlad is thinking although I think the general sports fan does know Wlads side. Certainly there nobody that think the Klitsckos have dodged Haye.

Wouldn't be shocked if Chisora vs Wlad does more PPV's than Haye vs Audley.

In the old days a fighter would give his right arm to get a title shot. At least Chisora has the balls to fight Vlad, unlike Haye, Solis, Povetkin, Valouev, etc. I do not know of a time when a champion had to beg fighters to fight him. A loss to Vlad will not hurt Chisora's career at all. He will make lots of money and his name to get bigger. We could be watching Vlad Vs. Haye, or Vitali Vs. Haye, but Haye is to afraid for such a fight.

Oh yea great thinking as usual on K2's part, Wlad gets a low-risk fight with a british guy who's known to chat a little bit will be perfect advert to get Haye, genius stuff stuff from the Klitschko's he picked the right guy for that. When I heard he;d fight again this year I was a bit surprised but now makes sense, for both parties imo.

In resposne to who said what's del boy going to learn from this fight, how better a yard stick to see where youre at and where you need to improve than the best fighter in the divsion.

Also, with his cocky nature Chisora has that ability to grind on people but you wont be hearing a lot of that amidst the 'Respect to him for stepping up' comments. Get a shot at the title, biggest payday by a mile and respect from the boxing fraternity. Good nights work

Good on Del Boy, regardless of what happens, he is showing massive balls to get in the ring with Wlad. Huge respect to him!

Hope Warren somehow gets this shown at the ExCel, would be a shame to miss out.

I think they dodged Haye if you think Haye dodged them. It's a nonsense argument - neither side accepted the others' terms.

I agree with you but Wladamir didn't spend 2 years calling out Haye and wearing t shirts with Hayes decapitated head on. Also Wlad is lineal champion.

This fight is no yardstick, Chisora is domestic champ, Wlad is world champion with a number of succesful defences. Totally different levels Wlad's got no place calling him out.
Maybe if David Price puts on a good performance in his next fight Wlad's team will come knocking.
Chisora is a unbeaten fighter on the up of course he wants a pop at the champ doesn't mean he has anything like the skills to do it in the ring
He looked excellent against Sam Sexton bring on Wlad Klitchsko!.....can't quite grasp the thought process behind that

As people have said its an advert fight WK gets some recognition in England gets to talk to the press. Del Boy can give it the big i am on the british scene and gets an early if undeserved shot at a belt. Win Win really you cant argue with Wlads competition hes the man at heavyweight bar none. DC's head movement might actually trouble Wlad for a round or 2 as Sam's did but its going to be WK i would think. mid rounds KO the worst thing for del boy would be a prolonged 10 round beating on the end of that jab and righ hand.....

He is? News to me. Vitali's got more claim to being lineal than Wlad, despite the Ring trinket.

This fight could be HUGELY damaging to Chisora's psyche - even worse than the prolonged physical beating he will surely take.

For that reason I wouldn't take the fight, and instead wait untiil the Klits retire. An unbeaten record is empowering, and the belief in himself he could take from it may just propelling to being a champion one day in what is seemingly a weak division. Then again, I'm pretty sure other fighters will improve past him so he may not make it anyway IMO.

Funny how "belts" and "titles" become "trinkets" and "baubles" when it suits.....;)

I know, Gaz. I don't value any of them, especially not The Ring's. Being 'better' than the belt orgs is damning with faint praise at best.
