Its out there. I have seen it. Langford destroys Hague.

Looks like you can pay to view on this web site.

Sure, Langford vs Jeanette is worth 10 modern PPV fights in my book:

Are you referring to me? If so ,say so, and we can discuss it.
The Langford Hague fight is a supper club do . I think the footage is about 2 rds, the 2nd and the last [4th],I think the referee is outside the ring, but could be wrong, he is in full evening dress, that I do remember.
It was on a video entitled Ring Classics ,or Classics Of The Ring ,I bought it for friend,[Xmas present].Also on the video was Paulino Uzcudun, can't remember who he was fighting, and Max Baer ,v Max Schmeling, these were only clips of each fight, I think Packey McFarland was on it too.
The Jeanette v Carpentier fight did not show the end of the fight but had some written commentary in French.
I have read that the Jeanette v McVey Paris fight was filmed ,but have never heard of anyone seeing it.

The Jeanette-Carpentier film does not exist, neither does Langford Hague and certainly not on ring classics. I found the archive that once housed both films and they have since been destroyed decades ago.

The Langford Hague ,I beleive was in the Pathe Library, but that was not the title on the clips, .The Jeanette fight with Carpentier was at one time owned by the Rothschild family .I bought the Classics video about 23 -25 years ago.

    I never did have it.
What would I gain by pretending to have seen a fight I haven't?
It would be like pretending I had written a book , but never actually producing, it would it not?
The only motive would be to gain some pathetic kudos from other posters.
I will let you into a secret ,I couldn't give a flying **** about your opinion of me, ,nor anyone else's on this forum, for that matter.

For future reference, here is my opinion of you.
I find you a smug, supercilious, up his own arse, would be expert, who thinks he is far and away, too good for the rest of us ordinary fans ,and, one who labours under the delusion that his **** does not stink.
You are rude, sarcastic, and condescending, in debate, as your recent ding -dong with courteous Old Fogey highlighted ,without as far as I can see, any justification. You've done extensive research on Harry Greb , ****ing big deal .If your tongue was long enough ,you would lick yourself.

You find me smug because I know more about the films you profess to have seen and therefore know that you either lying or mistaken. Why? Because Ive dealt with the companies who originally filmed these fights (some of which still exist today) and the archives that housed them etc for years. I know in large part who originally distributed them and who later had very limited access to them. I know that when you say you saw it on ring classics and then give an example of the fights that accompanied it I can tell you I have that film and it most certainly does not appear on that reel in any way shape or form. I have all of the Carpentier films which currently exist today as well as a catalogue of those that were filmed and no longer exist. Either way you got called on it and dont like it. Tough, deal with it. Its a fact, a sad fact, that Carp-Jeanette and Langford-Hague were filmed but no longer exist.
