''Naz Hamed was the best I’ve worked with. He had everything, real KO power, all the skills, the box office appeal, he was exciting, a showman, but he still didn’t fulfil all his talent. Naz could have done so much more with the talent he had.''

naz was a promoters dream...calzaghe not so much until after lacy...remember he almost bottled that fight a few weeks before, pops calzaghe and FW had to convince him to take it

looking at it overall...from his view, with a promoters hat on...yeah naz could well be the best hes worked with

Naz was the total package for tv, sport and people behind cashing in!!
Which is why America invited him over and enjoyed his visit.

Hamed is overrated IMHO. Great character though.

That's what I think Warren means. I don't think he is saying Naz is the best ever fighter he has worked with, although obviously he is right up there.

Naz was pure entertainment and a ****ing goldmine. Did any major sports equipment manufacturers sponsor Calzaghe? No. He was lacking charisma, part of the reason for him taking so long to break into the big time. Naz was a promoters wet dream.

As someone said, Calzaghe may have probably been the better overall boxer but he wasn't 1/20th of Naz in terms of entertainment. At the time I really hated the guy, but when I watch the old videos now I'm in nothing but awe of his outside/and sometimes in the ring elements. Fighter's with that edge of appeal that brings in the casual sports fans are a rare commodity.

How can you say Calzaghe was a better boxer? he just threw **** loads of punches and some of them landed. He had no punch either. Naz was class, threw punches from everywhere, great balance, amazing athelete and could bang l;ike ****

Naz is the best fighter this country has ever seen IMO, to say he got where he was and people say he still didn't fulfill his potential speaks volumes.

If he fought in black and white, you would be wetting yourself over him.
