""Warren has praised Calzaghe as "the best fighter I have ever worked with"" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/oth...nk-Warren.html
Totally disagree. Especially with Morales, he would have stood toe to toe with Hamed and when you do that, you lose.
Naseem Hamed never lives up to his full potential, but I still loved to watch him fight. Hamed Vs. Kelly was awesome!
great showman(a lot of a knobhead as well),poor boxing ability,if he dident have that awsome power he would of been beaten a lot lot more. still, awsome power goes a long way. as for frank,he says a lot,a ****ing lot of ****
completely agree with this post. morales would defo be provoked into having a war and would havew been starched!
This:deal People often overlook the fact that barring polotics he would have been the first man at any weight to hold all four belts. The way people talk about him sometimes is like he never did anything till he stepped up and got beaten by Barrera. Also the way the Barrera fight is talked about you would think it was a one sided beatdown as opposed to a competetive fight.
Hamed was an immensely gifted fighter. Good speed, reflexes, chin and one of the hardest hitting feather weights of all time. But he didn't reach his full potential he should have been ranked along side the likes of Barerra and Morales, but he blew it. Started believing in his own hype, fell in love with his power and abandoned his counter punching style along with his trainer and became a one dimensional power puncher. Just goes to show, you can have all the talent in the world but without the work ethic and the right people around you it can count for nothing.
Are you forgetting about his first fight with Pac? Morales was more than capable of being smart and outboxing a less versatile fighter
