    :lol::think

    I'd pick Jones. I wouldn't be surprised to get it wrong though.

    I think he stops Qawi at some point, it all depends on how much punishment Dwight can take. Jones would be using every angle in the book and would be hitting him at will.

    Qawi would dance circles around the sluggish Jones before disposing of him like yesterday's diapers.

    Anyone thinking Qawi gets stopped, should be shot.

    Sorry but if anything is not happening in this match it is Qawi getting stopped.

    This would be a genius call if it turned out to be correct...i think you are wrong.

    Roy had a superb jab when he bothered to use it. He just didn't bother for most of his fights... I don't think that he would stop Qawi who was tough as nails but I also feel you are underestimating Jones' power at light heavy.

    Maybe. But most of the time he didn't bother. Hence, his jab wasn't that good.

    Good jabbing isn't just a matter of technical ability. It's about deployment, frequency, variance and Jones proved basically none of these attributes.

    Assigning him a "good" jab in fantasy fights because he was technically capable is naive.

    I love that fight.

    RJJ by points or stoppage. Could go either way.

    Agreed. It certainly didn't look "superb" against a cutie like Montell Griffin. It looked very uneducated, actually. Qawi's was the better jab easily, and I think he'd have quite a bit of success countering Roy's with it, actually.

    Yeah, I think so too. Jones would win this one by doing what he always did but looking marginally more scared doing it. Rightly so.

    That's the thing, even if he did fight cautiously enough to last the distance, I'm not sure he could do enough offensively to win a decision.

    It's basically impossible for me to imagine a guy like Jones having control of the fight and not pecking out enough hard punches to win a decision. Similar, it's not possible for me to imagine Jones not having control of the fight and seeing out the distance. So I just don't see a Qawi win on points whatever else I see.

    I am not taking away from Qawi, I think he's a great fighter. I just feel he matches up horribly with Jones.
