Acosta got a nice win in there. Faccio is a tough lad remember him being a dirty one in the Dunne fight when the cut he opened up was a bad one with his loaf. Acosta looking good so far. Bit of an early stoppage but Faccio was on shaky legs even after the stoppage.

I like this results round up RTE do. Sky should do that for the unbroadcast undercard fights.

Just watching this Roberts bloke Kos did he remind you of Witter a lot?

Nah, more conventional than Witter and not as big a banger.

He seems to be more of an orthodox boxer than Witter and obviously has less power, but you can see similarities in his flashy punching and reflexes (although Roberts keeps his hands up more than Witter...which isn't hard to do :yep).

 I don't think you could get any less conventional than Witter.

The way he stands before his attacks remind me a lot of Witters. Just some of his movements reminded me of Witter. More conventional defence and punching but just odd things, maybe i'm getting Witter withdrawal symptoms :verysad

Acosta would be a complete beast if he didn't slap but even with the slapping he has ****loads of power. Really fast too.

My mates bumped into Junior at the MEN the other week (I had gone to the Kazi) and I think he said that he will be back in DEC.

On the scene now they reckon Ortiz-Kotelnik is possible for the Khan-Maidana undercard.

Nice one mate, hope he can make at least a Euro run at Welter which is sort of emptying out now at World. Will have to tell Icemax at our next Witter fans meeting. :D

Yeah, i think thats it.

I can see where you could've detected some Junior in Roberts' manorisms, like when he tried to switch hit (thankfully he quickly snapped out of it) but Witter was so all over the place, fighting off the wrong foot, leading with uppercuts etc. As you say it's hard to get any less conventional.

Roberts looks decent so far. He needed to go to the body more and his chin was a bit up in the air and not in his chest, but the basics are solid unlike with Witter.
