was thinking this at work today.

thought he was class on ringside aswell

 

yep, he did a very good job. I'd guess he'll just get the Hatton Promotions gigs though?

 

Pisses all over Piper and Nelson.

As long as he doesn't turn into one of Sky's robots he'll be great .

 

Yep Jamie's got enthusiasm and also comes on here at times which will help if he was to be a regular. He classy and explains himself very well..as Gaz said he probably be on the Hatton shows but hopefully Sky will see sense.

 

I've been really impressed with him so far. Much better than the usual suspects.

Johnny Nelson is top class, there is conviction and passion in what he says.

 

Thought he was very good too. His insight/assessment of both fights was spot on and it was just nice to hear a new voice. Don't forgot almost everyone starts of a bit shaky as a pundit/commentator. Once he gets more comfortable and beds in, he'll be even better.

He's the type of fella who deserves to walk into a job like that after retirement aswell.

100 percent true:goodbut as much as i like him as a fighter and man...he maybe lacks the charisma to make me really WANT him as part of the set up. Wouldn't grudge him getting a spot tho.

 

showed passion for the game, most certainly someone who should be giving advice to young fighters and prospects.

He's 6 months into retirement and all of a sudden he is on national tv giving his thoughts with a camera in front of him - it takes adjustment. He did well tonight.

 

i like Nelson..he gets bit amped up and has solid presentation..

 

Didn't see last night, but was very impressed when I saw him on a Hatton web talk show. Even without any training was miles better than 95% of pundits.
