Jamie Moore MUST be a regular on Sky Sports...please discuss.

Good to see our local lad representing.

 

I'm glad Sky are giving him a chance, they needed some fresh faces on the Boxing panel.

 

I agree I thought Jamie was class as a pundit last night and I'd certainly love to see him on there more regularly. This is another thing that Sky seem to have improved this season though is that they've got more boxers on as pundits (Khan and Cleverly as well recently) and hopefully they can keep that going and give more of these guys chances like this.

 

I thought he was good.

They desperately need some new blood instead of the Churchill nodding dogs we've been getting.

Hopefully more of the same, get Spencer Oliver back on as well.

They should also keep the potential next opponent at ringside idea as well, even though Sykes wasn't the best in front of the camera it works well.

Just a shame Ian Darke has left.... it means we've got Smith in the hotseat and Dave Darts :-(

thought he was class. Very natural and knows his boxing too.
I'm liking the way Sky are heading with the saturday fight nights.

 

That's the biggest improvement i've seen in Sky's boxing coverage. We've had Cleverly there for the Bellew fight and Khan there for the Murray fight. It adds some genuine interest to the pre, during and post fight coverage.

 

he did a good job. have him for all the north west based fights.

 

I mentioned this in the Ringside thread as well. Moore is a huge breath of fresh air on Sky's panel and it helps that he's also very popular with fight fans as well. Sky need to tie him down long-term ASAP. The only other person I'd ask Sky for on their panel is Richie Woodhall.

Keep it up, Jamie. You're a natural:thumbsup.

 

I think Jamie's been great with his analysis. Please may McCrory start training full time or something and give Jamie his job. I like Adam Smith but his commentary makes me ill, hope he's just holding the fort until they get someone else, hopefully not another football commentary reject.

 

Thanks lads, feel like i'm doin ok but it's not as easy as it looks believe me!! Hopefully they feel i did ok and they'll have me back, and the more i do the better i'll get. I've really enjoyed seeing it from the other side of things and the work that goes into these things is unreal. Glad you all thought i did ok, was dreadin havin a look in case i got slated!!:scaredas::good

I thought Jamie was great too and i also really enjoyed the how do boxers cope with retirement segment on Ringside that Jamie and Spencer were involved in.

I'm going to go against the grain too and say i really enjoy Johnny Nelsons work and i hope that they let him develop his style more on the Ringside show which i thought he was starting to do last week.

I think Sky are really heading in the right direction and lets hope they keep it up!
