lad to oblige B E...it was one of the most depressing boxing moments I could think of at the time!:thumbsup
Lupe Pintor-Johnny Owen. So sad because the man had so much of his life ahead of him and because his dad was his trainer, right in the middle of the whole thing when Johnny got knocked out.
Foreman may have gotten robbed vs Briggs, but if you think he got robbed vs Jimmy Young, then you need your head examined.
cheating by team-ali ???????????? i got one thing to say on that : hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha i really can't take this comment of you serious my kid is 8 years old and probably more intelligent like you i know you are a foreman fan but lets stay real.. don't you get a taste of **** in you're mouth from all that asslicking to foreman ?? P.S. teh ropes in teh rumble in teh jungle where OK
This made me feel very sad for everyone involved - obviously Billy, his wife, mum & dad and family but even in some ways Resto - people do bad things I guess - people try to get away with things they shouldn't - but you can't turn back time - there's so much regret that it's tragic really - the other 7 episodes are on youtube BTW - but it is very poignant and very difficult at times [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP2z6yrQFSo&feature=related[/ame]
Damn, I never thought I'd be watching this...I've avoided the subject of this fight and what happened...it's so painful to watch this..to see poor Collins in the ring before the decision and how horribly battered he was..the whole damned tragedy..
the documentary is a brilliant peice of work but it really makes you think about hindsight and the stupid things people do when they are young and the passing of time etc living with regret and guilt - and it also makes you think about the power that denial has over human beings too - all very difficult - but I then some people say the darkest hour is that before the dawn (or something like that):hey - forgiveness is a heroic quality and redemption is something we'd all wish for ourselves
