    Shane Mosley/Antonio Margarito
I was actually fearful for Shane during the build up after I'd seen Margarito bludgeon Cotto.

It took me about 2 years to accept that Pac was going to be a force above 135lbs...:patsch

Matthew Hall-Anthony Small, still cringe over the money I lost that night and worse, how certain I felt about collecting.

And one for the old gits: Honeyghan-Curry. Thought this would be a massacre!

    You did not pick that?

    Shame on you!

Like I said at the time, Curry maybe pick'em with Hagler, but he is clearly still only going to be second finest fighter in the world.

Anyone who got decked against Cliff Gilpin was going to steamroll a man who had merely iced McCrory, destroyed Jones' nose, and shown his magic against Starling!

I thought you were smart GazOC?;)

    I know mate. I'm ashamed!!!

I remember back then that people were saying that Curry should forget about 154 and just go straight to a title shot against Hagler at 160. He was a beautiful fighter for a few years but everyone really bought into him as a top ATG.

My worst ever prediction had to be picking Manfredo to beat Calzaghe...

    BUT

Lets be fair here, the stoppage was SO bad that night that Manfredo wasnt given the chance to prove me right. well thats my argument & I am sticking to it anyway:yep

    I was offender myself...

But I learnt my lesson, and a couple months later after dumping Curry, I cracked on to this young Heavyweight from New York. I would of stuck my mortgage on him being a World Champ for ten years post Berbick...

That probably explains why I am in debt today!;)

****ing hell Dunky, thats a real shocker mate!!! A friend of mine was going to have a punt on Manfredo at 4/1 and I told him not to bother as it was a complete mismatch!!!

I really thought Hatton would steamroller Pacquiao.

I think it was just blind patriotism overtaking reason.

What can I say Gaz? I never rated Calzaghe highly at the time, saw some footage of Manfredo looking good in sparring, & hung my neck out to dry.

My only saving grace is that godawful stoppage, brit boxing at its worst.
