Weather you like, love or hate Floyd Mayweather Jr., we all must or will agree he has the best chin in boxing. The man has fought nearly 15 years without being knocked down or seriously hurt and that unusual in boxing. I admit he has been stunned and hit very hard (ex: Mosley, Chop Chop Corley, JLC, Judah) but he has yet to go down hard from a punch which is amazing. Only fighter who has fought for years and can say the same on a championship level is Vitaly Klitscko, but he has been stopped twice . Floyd's chin can stand the test of time in any previous era as well as now!

don't get too excited now. he's got decent recuperating ability and superb defense, but definitely not the best chin.

If Void thought he had such a good chin he would fight Pac.

Floyd, has fought in 3 different decades and has never been busted up, hurt or knocked down on his ass. DLH,hit him with a few good left hooks. The same left hooks that koed the iron chin Ricardo Mayorga and several others and Floyd took those punches like it was not anything.

Stunned and hurt are two different things. Like being knocked down and getting up and being knocked out cold is two different things.

I love how you mention that Vitali has been stopped twice when 1 was a stoppage due to cuts and the other was retirement because of a shoulder injury, and how this catapults Floyd above Vitali in terms of... chin.

He's got a good chin, but it's impossible to say he's the best because he's a defensive fighter so there's no gauge for comparison. There are tons of fights where Floyd gets caught that people don't really catch but make no mistake Floyd is an absolutely animal in the ring. There is nothing "pretty" about him. He comes right back at you if he gets tagged.

i think you have to give more credit on his defence. im not saying that he doesn't have a good chin ( i think he has), but he has a great defence, the best in the business today.

He doesn't have the best chin in boxing. If your measuring a chin on how many times a fighter has been down then you are oversimplifying the analysis. A defensive genius like Floyd never gets hit too many times and even when he has been hit he has been stunned. Compare that to someone like Mosley who gets hit far more often but has only ever looked hurt at one point in his career agains Forrest (and even that was after a headbutt and monsterous uppercut). Even against a common opponent in Oscar; ok, Mayweather took about one left hook the whole twelve rounds and even that was rolled to a certain extent. During Oscar v Mosley I Shane gets hit with some monster left hooks and doesn't even look stunned.

Mayweather has a good chin no doubt. But i don't think it's the best.
