That short right in the first round against Mayweather was probably the best punch Hatton landed in his combined two fights against Mayweather and Pacquaio. That 13 rounds of boxing for THAT to be your best punch, not good.

 

To be fair...Hatton stopped Pacquiao in his tracks at one point in the 2nd, but then we seen what happened after that.

But 2 clean, effective punches in 2 bouts...

 

Oh yeah, that right hand. I'd like to see that right hand against Pac from another angle, because I found it hard to tell how good of a punch it was. From the broadcast angle it does look like it caught him clean and stopped him - but Pac showed no ill effects and continued his assualt immediately

 

heavier weights may be bigger but enzo mac has proved that they are not always stronger but vitalis chin has taken a few hiroshimas and in response the opponent got a smile or something his chin does a phat **** on floyds

but his elite defensive skills make him not get hit as much therefore he doesnt get hit enough to say he has the best chin in boxing. BUT!!!! he does have a good chin because he has taken some good hits. Definetly not the best chin in boxing.


Heres people who you should say got the best chin in boxing.

vitali klitchko, cesar chavez, david tua, juan urango, arturo ghatti, muhammad ali, shane mosley,

those guys got the best chins in boxing. theyve taken hits.

 

Many of Pac's opponent tasted the floor first when they fought him. Pac will wipe the floor using Floyd's awesome chin when they fight.

Floyd Mayweather has been given spaghetti legs by SINGLE SHOTS from both DeMarcus Corley and a past-prime Shane Mosley.

If he didn't hang onto Shane like a drowning orphan then he would have been on the mat, no doubt about it. It wasn't his chin/punch resilience that kept him from falling.

Floyd Mayweather has the best DEFENCE in boxing. This is what stops him from getting dropped. He is not even close to having the best chin. He has a decent chin, but not a great one.

PBF is one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time but his is based more on skill and movement than it is having a strong chin. Actually I'm not sure he gets hit enough for us to know whether he has he best chin or not.

 

Yeah big Valuev has a tremendous chin most of the time it looks like the shots he does take on the chin don't even phase him at all David Haye did rock him one good time in the 12th though.
