Dundee made teh ropes loose teh day before cos he planned teh Rope-a-dope. Slack ropes made a HUGE difference cos Ali could swing back in teh ropes with teh punches - so teh ropes absorbed MOST of Foremans' Power. With tight-ropes, no-one in all of boxing could last more then 2 Roundz rope-a-doping VS Foreman....

The poision is true - a African gave Foreman a yucky drink what tasted like mediciane before teh fight to make Foreman get wear-out...Foreman said after teh fight his muscles ached horribley [it NEVER happened after any other fight!] And that a side effect of some poisons.

Foreman deserve decision VS Young - i had him 2 point up at teh end - whatch fight again And see who lands harder punches....[i dont count teh "knock-down"" cos it was a balance-shot IMO]]

YES...Old Foreman won over Prime Briggs before Lennox did - BUT George was robbed....i would of loved to see Foreman get a fight with Lennox in 1998 instead of briggs. Foreman was shot after 1994 - BUT he still had a big enough haymaker to destroy teh most iron of chins if he landed...gl

I still do n't buy any of it. George simply refused to accept that he'd been beaten by the better man. I doubt whether old george could have beaten Lewis. Young George would have done,I think.

i go to all that effort to write my opinions And this your try at arguing back??? Are you lazy or just know you cannt prove me wrong??
I never said Old George would beat Lewis - i said he could get one-big-haymaker on Anyone.
How you think young George VS Lennox would go?? I think it close war trading haymakers every-round until Foreman KO him in 6...

i almost quit watching after benn-mcclellan. i had a bad feeling going into the fight and found it a bit difficult to watch. i'll never forget don king being interviewed in the immediate aftermath, saying of mcclellan "oh, he's alright" and then being reminded i gave that cocksucker money to watch it.

I do not think you can blame King in this instance. I remember post fight venting my spleen at the quitter McClellan costing me money, and calling him every name under the sun.

It was not until the morning that I realised what had happened to him...

The main two big ones in my mind are Mike Watson and G-Man. Watson has managed to bravely make a good life for himself but sadly i think Gerald was too hurt.
That Benn Mclellan fight could have happened yesterday for me, its that clear in my mind, a massive rollercoaster of emotion. As a huge Benn fan i was crawling the walls wanting him to win and be safe but in the end i was just willing Mclellan to get up, awful.

Of course, I am not blaming King for what happened to McClellan. I am blaming him for being an unconscionably inconsiderate cocksucker who didn't give a damn about the fighter. Everyone with half a sense watching the fight knew McClellan was f'd up, that weird blinking, his imbalance and shot legs. King just tried to whitewash the whole affair from the get.

By the way, are you Tyrone Booze or just have a moniker to celebrate Tyrone Booze?

Have you guys ever heard of a term called...troll?

Anyways, Dundee making the ropes loose is totaly bull****. Angelo inspected the ring the day before the bout, adn the people who built it were completely unprofessional. The ring was lobsided. It wasn't even. That's how poorly put together it was. Angelo and another guy had to have some of the workers around there fix it by putting wood under one side of the ring.

On top of that, the ropes were very loose, and Dundee could do nothing about it. He knew if someone was going to be on the ropes, that it was going to be Ali, and not Foreman, and he did NOT want loose ropes. The ring was high up from the ground too. If Ali slipped through the ropes, he might have become paralyzed or maybe even died that night. That was the main reason Dundee told him to stay off the ropes. It's actually a wonder that Ali didn't go through the ropes once that whole fight. The ropes being loose, was a disaster, not an unfair advantage.

This isn't directed at Foreman Hook. Because I already know his agenda, it's pretty obvious lol. But I love him as a poster, he makes me laugh with every post :)

Im only posting this for the people who are actually considering some of the hocus pocus he is spewing.

is Foreman Hook a homage to that poster? :D unless it's common to see people with names like "Ali's jab" does anyone else find this hilarious?

That must have been awful for you John. I was born four years after this fight happened, but seeing the photos, reports and the films make me really sad. Like Muhammad Ali who followed him,Joe Louis was a truly iconic figure who was a credit to the old game.

Duran-Moore. Davey's eye getting the thumb in round 1 coincided with the start of that merciless drubbing as we know it.

Roy Jones defeating John Ruiz for the WBA heavyweight championship. It gives Roy the right to claim being a heavyweight champion even though he couldn't compete at that level consistently.
