Question about the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez I, scoring controversy

Do you agree with the judges scoring on the first round or not?!
Juan Manuel Marquez dropped 3x's. .

Seems you are not satisfied with 3 kd's. Do you mean Juan Manuel to drop 4x's in one round to call in one sided?! Knowing you are a huge fan of Juan Manuel I wouldn't be surprised if you want Juan Manuel to drop 5x's before you call it one sided. LoL!

Like I said many times. Juan Manuel could have a better career if he had a different manager/consultant. I believe his career would have gone into greater heights if he chose a different manager.

That could so easilly have been a stopage. either at the point when marrquez was still on the floor at 7 seconds of the 3rd KO. Or just after that when pac landed antother 6 or 7 straight lefts with no response.

Did anywhen else alse see the Punch whilst he was on the floor. Marquz should have pulled an Andre Dirrell on his ass and got him disqualified haha.

Also for Boxing history we're so lucky the fight was allowed to continue, what a fight it proved to be.

And no it wasnt a one sided beat down after Marquez. But still a very close fight. People get carried away with Marquez comeback generously awarding him rounds. I'd say Pac just edged it, due to the fact he was 5 points up going in to round 3.

As good as Manny is for boxing, he will do the boards a bigger favor when he retires or gets his ass kicked....Boxing Message Board's IQ avg will increase across the net by atleast 50 points as MSNBC reports from Manila that thousands of Philipinos are drinking kool-aid and dying across the islands.

 

I can't remember specific rounds other than obviously the first. I will go through these rounds tomorrow and give you an analysis on each round and why I scored them to Pacquiao, or rescore them if I feel I've got it wrong.

I was happy with my scorecard though, and able to score it from a very neutral point of view. Although I feel I am very fair with my scorecards anyway. At a guess, without remembering the rounds specifically, it was probably because Marquez stopped landing his right at will, and Pacquiao picked up the pace again and began to hit his mark with the left.

I am in a fan of Pacquiao. I am always fair with my scorecards in my opinion, whether it's my favourite fighter or not, what I'm seeing with my eyes won't be distorted so I give the round to who I think won it, for example, Froch v Kessler was close, a lot had Froch winning yet I gave it to Kessler even though Froch is one of my favourite fighters.

In this fight though, I don't particularly favour either guy, so I'm not going to be bias. I scored it as I saw it. No doubt that Marquez was the better fighter in that fight overall, if he didn't get caught cold in round 1 he would have won, but for me, he didn't. There were rounds when he couldn't time the right hand, Pacquiao picked up the pace, began moving his upper-body alot and Marquez couldn't tag him as much, and Pacquiao began to land the lead left again and landed the harder, cleaner, crisper shots in some rounds.

It was close, I could probably watch it and score it again and not have a problem with people thinking Marquez edged it, but for me, Pacquiao edged it by 1 point. It was close though. Don't go acting like Marquez was robbed, because that notion would be ridiculous.

If you scored it against Marquez you'll be labelled automatically as DIE HARD PAC fan by Divac! At the same time the judge is fraud if the judge ruled it against his score sheet. :rofl

He did not bash Juan Manuel for drinking his pee. I'm a kobe fan and a pacquio fan but if Manny drinks his pee. I'll call him INSANE,STUPID,FOOL etc etc once he drinks his own pee. But some Juan Manuel FANS are blinded or silent when he drank his own pee. Maybe they believe and AGREE that drinking your own pee will help you win :rofl:rofl
