Still hatin on Manny I see. Just face it. phillipinos >>>>>>> Koreans. You jealous, why you hatin, aren't koreans asians? I'm just sayin, Manny = greatest asian fighter of all time, shouldn't you be rooting for him instead of hating? I remember you said In-jin chi would beat Pac. In-jin chi trained in the Phillipines because he could not get quality sparring in Korea. You mad because there have been no really great Korean fighters outside korea and the phillipinos have had several. That is sad. I ain't even asian and Pac is my favorite fighter right now.

Well, we have heard what he is capable of doing against the mother of his children but as a boxer, Yes, he WAS a killer!

I swear to God that some involved in this thread have never even seen a Floyd fight.

First one says "Floyd is not a counter puncher, he's another type of defensive fighter" I just about fell out of my chair. Love him or hate him not only is he the best counter puncher in the world today but he is also the best defensive pugilist on the planet. The two also go hand in hand I might add.

Then another says "he must come forward to win" Its at that point I did leave my chair to go rinse my eyes out, return and make sure I was not misreading.
Floyd fights better off the back foot and countering going backwards then just about anyone I have ever seen.

If you want to hate on the guy at least make the attempt to sound a little objective.

I fully agree with this. Floyd was a beast at lower weights!

I thought Ivy was American but that's beside the point. Floyd in truth was a beast or killer as he wanted it but I haven't seen such a beast or killer in Floyd since he moved to north of 135.

Floyd is a counterpuncher, one of the best in the sport. He counters with tremendous speed and accuracy but JMM is a different counterpuncher which suited better against Pacman. Floyd counters with single shots, JMM counters with 4-5 punch combos which enabled him to outpunch Pac in their fights. Having said these however, JMM didn't beat Pac. Multiple KDs scored by Pac had secured him a draw and a win in his two close fights with Marquez.

Floyd struggled against Castillo but Castillo didn't beat him. Pacman however is levels above Castillo and it could be the reason why Floyd went on extended "vacation" than fight with Pac.

You have a good point in there. The first JMM fight could had been Pac's driver in improving his game so that's a schooling in any sense. In the same manner, I think JMM also learned some lessons in that fight like you need to avoid getting KD'd to win against Pac.

Right! Floyd's good balance saved him from hitting the floor in the early goings of his fight with Hatton.
