Neither. The most complete dominance over Tyson was by Robin Givens who never threw a single punch. What happened after that was merely taking advantage of the shell of a man who was, Tyson.
buster no question..out of all of tyson's losses which have been ko...the only time he looked completely out on his feet was in that fight..the man couldn't even put in his mouthpiece properly
the goal of either anti-anxiety or anti-depression meds (can't recall what he was on at the time) is to moderate your reaction to stimuli and flatten your affect - not that he was a zombie, but sure they don't help a professional fighter (who wasn't at his fittest and healthiest anyway)
I'm sure you have a somewhat valid point u want to make, but Tyson being "a pussey" outside of the ring is not one of them. Did you ever see the footage of Tyson beating up two mexicans in a hotel lobby at 4 am around 4 or 5 years ago AFTER one of them brandished a gun at him??? Tyson has made some stupid decisions, but can't say he's a pussey anywhere
Being younger and closer to peak don't mean Jack if you're not training properly if at all. He trained hard for Holyfield, you can see it in the ring, still had decent head movement after a few rounds, against Douglas jabs were T-ing off on his face from pretty much round one, that's not Tyson. I just think it was a better Tyson that showed up for Holyfield.
Not a bad point about the two versions. However, I believe Holy was at his absolute peak in terms of his PED development for a variety of reasons. Therefore, I give Buster more credit for his performance
Douglas. Despite the fact the he did get dropped while neither Holyfield nor Lewis did, he beat the freshest version of Tyson. While Tyson was definitely on the slide and neglecting his training before he went to prison I see nothing to suggest the time he spent away from the ring did him any good or that he made any improvements during his comeback. Douglas also beat him purely with his own skill, heart and determination. Holyfield set the template of getting rough with him and fighting dirtily which Lewis followed. I'm not saying Holyfield wouldn't have beaten him without clinching and butting him but that tactic takes away from the win slightly when we're comparing them in this way. Lewis fought an out and out shot fighter. He was perhaps the most dominant but Tyson was a husk. The hype was great, many believed Tyson could or would whip himself into shape one last time but he didn't.
After reading some Godly comments, i have to revert my Fatwa back to Douglas. yes, Hollyfield is a Godly man and a man of God and he is righteous. but, Douglas humiliated Tyson like no other. Please close this thread as i have finally declared my Godly fatwa on Douglas. all other opinions from heathens and infidels are beneath me. i do not care of your unGodly fatwas you pork eating heathens.
LOL, I thought this Zionist ***** died 10 years ago, yet he is still dressing up like an Arab bomber polluting the site.
the fact that you put the word ownage and Tyson in the paragraph shows you to be a ****ing idiot of the highest regard end of thread ffs
I know what they do. They don't make you docile (usually don't even work). If anything they enhance performance.
I am referring to his mental makeup. Yes, he is obviously going to be somewhat badass on the street, but his psych evaluation got out, and he is dysthymic. That means you have a weakness. It is a personality type that causes a person to be chronically depressed on a low level.
Douglas was the best one.No doubt in my mind. The inexperience of the corner was an additional factor in the defeat, IMO. Tyson's timing was way off,but if he had been told by his cornerman to tighten up and not square up to Douglas,it might well have gone to the judges.
