We could have a netural venue, The Stadium, The o2 or the new CityWest Convention Centre....... The fights aint gonna come off so i think we can all forget about the idea of it TBH, But what happens if Lee or Duddy get beaten in their next fights against whom ever they may be against, They will be kicking themselves saying "Bollix, i should of taking that offer from Brian Peters, Now im never gonna get an offer like that again"
I really dont see Duddy winning this one. Lee will stay at range behind the jab and rock duddy when he gets in too close. Duddy's only chance is to be absolutely relentless and work on Andy's supposed stamina weakness....
In actual boxing O'Hara won 6-3, Donnelly lost 10-0(!) and O'Kane won 5-0. BTW Hooper(75kg) from Australia, Joe Ward's friend, won well.
Anthony Fitzgerald versus Lee Murtagh confirmed for Limerick,Murtagh said so on his facebook page. Interesting fight this one Fitz should be too young and strong but Murtagh will be very fit and this will be his last chance at a title..

My head is spinnin from all this Duddy/Lee talk. Before we blame them both for turning down the Macklin fight does anyone know exactly how much say they have in who they fight? Duddy - he needs to make some money and get the **** out of the fight game for his own good.If Arum has him lined up to fight Foreman then he will probably make similar money to the Lee fight without much chance of getting hurt. When he loses to Foreman which is very likely then he can go looking for an all-Irish showdown between Lee or Macklin, fights which could signal the end of his career but at least he would go out with 2 big paydays. Lee - he has much more potential than Duddy but we are seeing only sight progress if any.He is fighting no one of substance yet seems fairly close to getting a title shot. I think he too wants to make some money in the states and if he fails in a title bid then come back to Ireland and have the big domestic dust ups against Macklin or Duddy.
How do we feel the Irish lads will do in Prizefighter this weekend? McBride may well be his swansong. Could Timlin be the dark horse of the Prizefighter or do they both have no chance.
Well if the boxing doesnt work out for him then the MMA will be a option for the lad. He may well make more money in MMA than in the boxing aswell.
