Cotto's chin isn't as good as Floyd's chin. Look at how many times Cotto has been stunned throughout his career compared to Floyd.
Floydamaniacs, go test your opinions in this thread: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=258593 I dare you.
So I bring in proof that he has an above average chin, and you run off applying some abstract philosophical theory of yours. His chin has held up each time it's been tested.:dead
Cotto has been stunned many more times than has Floyd, agreed. That however is mostly attributed to Cotto's defensive inadequacies along with weight issues; not his punch resistance, imo. Pretty obvious too.
Not knowing how to get hit is a skill. How well you can take a punch depends on what you were born with, and how good you are with rolling with the punch. Cotto has looked silly from shots that wouldn't even bother Floyd. This is the same guy who had to desperately low blow Zab Judah to stop the inertia of those uppercuts, Floyd walked through an uppercut and professionally walked him down.
lol, "each time it's been tested", yep, you really proved a lot when it pertains to an individual who rarely allows himself to be in a position to have his chin tested. Good one! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPe8-JDQ2-g[/ame] ****ing Hatton rocked Floyd: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfVoXgCQc60[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtyDlsOO98A[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC0-Y1QI4t8[/ame] Look genius those are all examples of Floyd's chin not holding up, is his chin glass? No because he stays up, but is his chin great? Oh hell no. Those are examples of good instincts after his chin failed him. lol CLEARLY Moral of the story, when Floyd sets his feet and gets caught, the knees buckle and he goes fuzzy, that's why he's a boxer/puncher and not a puncher/slugger. lol He has the power and ability to put punches together to be a puncher/slugger but his chin would fail him too often, that's why he's a runner.
I just realized you have no idea about what you're talking about. You posted a video of Floyd being caught off balance by Hatton's jab as an example of his chin getting tested.
Again, using Mosley as a common opponent who has landed flush right hands on both fighters at a natural weight for all of the involved fighters at the time in which the fights were fought, Cotto wins the better chin contest... And it's not even close.
You show your lack of knowledge again. Ali was a boxer-puncher, and he had one of the best chins ever. You need a new name instead of AlisJab. Floyd isn't even a boxer/puncher. He's a boxer now.
Yep, that proves me wrong, good one Floydtard. You dumb ****, I'm done with your pathetic nutsucking ***** ass. Peace.
Using their entire careers, Cotto's chin isn't as great as Floyd's chin. I don't understand why you guys use the weight drainage excuse. It's a CUSTOM for prizefighters to weight drain these days. No one else gets the weight drain excuse for a suspect chin like Cotto. ODLH was dehydrated as **** against pac, but his chin wasn't looking stupid in there. Don't be angry because you don't know what you're talking about. Being off balance is very different from being hurt.
