In principle it's brilliant.
If you have enough deluded fans who believe every word you say, you can make a lot of money over the champions backs. Some people talk themself into fights, he talked himself into paydays. It's bad for boxing, it's really bad for the HW division, but Haye doesn't care about that... He's doing it for Ali, Louis, Thompson and his bank account...

It's just one easy fight he's taking then the Klitschko fight will eventually happen. One easy fight after two tough ones isn't bad and it sure as hell isn't the first time it happens either.

Indeed , I was angry at first but I realised the only thing to do was not support him and definetley not put any money in his pocket .

 

Whilst I agree, there is another aspect to it imo, that Boxing is Britain is a niche sport, there are not that many hardcore fans, which is why Haye can market himself as a world champ, even though the hardcore fans know he is a paper champ, and sell PPV's irrespective of who he fights.

 

Good posts iceman. Although I think Wlad is full of **** for negotiating his way out of a fight (demanding **** loads more than he brings in) and then putting out gay videos about bitching out and being ducked, it is totally clear that Haye is a BS talking *****.

I don't think he's scared of Wlad at all but I do think that coming up to HW and saying he'll fight anyone, KO all bums inc. the Klits and unify the titles in a year is in no way in line with what he's done.

Wlad is completely taking the **** asking for 50-50, but if Haye was all about money, fairness and playing hardball on deals he shouldn't have came out and pretended to be a take-all-comers warrior.

Accusations in this tread that Haye is raping his fans and that his fans are stupid for paying him to fight bums are a complete joke. Wlad has been doing this his entire career and especially during his years as a belt holder. You can't **** talk Haye for doing it without calling out Wlad in the same breath.

BOTH men are lying cocks who care much more about making money than having any kind of legacy or giving the fans what they want. However, Haye did more talking and looks like much more of a fool at this point.
