Both Wlad and Vitali werent afraid to fight Lennox. Whats more they wanted that fight. Lennox made a good thing that he retired as a champion and didnt fight Wlad or Vitali, cause he was too old to beat them. He beat Vitali, but he would lose the rematch eventually.

I dont see the analogy with Haye there ;) As long as he is a WBA champion he will not fight either Klitschko, too much to lose.

heres my take on it...and most others. Haye is lucky to be getting 50-50
Wlad is the recognized Heavyweight Champion....regardless what people think about his style. 65,000 seats were sold in a short time for the Haye fight..and Haye wasnt the only reason, thats BS.

Wladimirs record stands for itself.....he has given in to every demand that a challenger should even dare to keep requesting. Wlads resume trumps David Hayes "tired" antics and broken promises of excitement.

    So for the record
Wladimir 18 World Heavyweight title fights

    Haye has

Vincenzo Rossitto - a 202 pound "heavyweight" that fought as a cruiserweight 5 months prior

But somehow David Haye is just as much a "heavyweight champion" as wlad. no way in hell i can see anyone defending this guy....everything he says is bull****.... :-(

Yep that fight was a disgrace from both fighters which is why that trincket around Hayes waist isnt worth a damn.Hes a paper champ who got a gift title shot against a horrible title holder and couldnt even take proper advantage. I have no idea how people come to the conclusion that the best fight to be made at HW is between Haye and Wlad. What has Haye done at HW to deserve such esteem?

he made Valeuv miss alot because he was in reverse the whole night and Valuevs big slow ass couldnt catch him.... like trying to sat a fly or something
and while haye landed more, his punches were jabs meant to keep his distance and not try to actual use them as a weapon

Nice critique Iceman. I had so much hope for Haye after the Mormeck and Maccarinelli fights and believed he really could be a super star. At that stage he didn;t mind travelling to other backyards to fight. The next 3 years - as you have duely listed - has seen him horribly mismanage his career and embarres himself in the eyes of true boxing fans. I hope Harrison catches him with something!

Your economics are quite powerful sans the basic demension of supply and demand.

There are no other recognized HW champs of any credibility.
You have to buy out your competitors to consolidate the market. Hes not going to delahoya Wlad as Wlad dont need him.
