We know Hopkins has a problem dealing with fast 2 handed fighters, losing to Jones, Taylor and Calzaghe, and Sturm is a fast 2 handed fighter

This guy got a shot at a belt marvin hagler used to own. hagler was ducked for years...it took him 9 years to get a title ****
this clown got one in 2 1/2 years and 14 fights....as you will see on his "resume"
only 3 guys had at least 10 wins
the guy he fought that vaulted him into a fight with Sturm had lost 6 in a row to go with his 6 total wins

sturm couldnt even beat de la hoya. he woudl never touch hopkins. even now

 

Taylor got 2 questionable decisions over Hopkins, I don't care what the judges think Hopkins landed more punches, Taylor was the more active fighter and managed to get Hopkins off balance acouple of times, but never hurt. Hopkins, on the other hand, did wobble Taylor late in the fight. C'mon, Hopkins destroys a Oscar in a valiant effort and Sturm goes 12, probably deserving a draw because he wasn't doing much either to Oscar. Didn't Sturm get ktfo by Castillejo? Sturm gets dominated or stopped by any version of Hopkins.

does it really matter about the DLH comparison? DLH is a natural welter. dlh actually was doing alot better vs bernard than he did with sturm until he got nailed....felix beat him up 8 or 9 rounds of the 12....and his face showed
