Pac has blinding speed. Floyd has HBO old timers day speed. Even Foreman can't continue the con job and for the first time here on this amazing boxing site stated Manny would beat Floyd.

Pac is faster in my opinion. If you watch their latest tape, back to back, Pac has a little bit faster hands. He's feet are definitely faster.

 

Floyd has faster hands/wings, especially when it comes to ducking.

 

Pac has relentless speed.

Floyd just has quick release.

But overall Pac is much faster. That's why Pac has no fear to face Floyd. While Floyd is still finding ways to duck Pac.

PBF he has quicker reflexes and can get off first with the ability to beat Pac to the punch. Pac throws quicker combos though

 

Floyd has more speed in any one punch with either hand.

Pacq has more speed in his combos.

But in practice,Floyd is faster,seeing how he fights based off of great timing from up stairs, and utilizes his slightly disproportionate arm length exceptionally well.Factor in the fact that he has fought every type of fighter,and is maybe the greatest defensive fighter of our generation,and quickly you realize that he of the two will make another fast fighter look average.(after he adjusts anyway)Pacquiao in fact has never been challenged in the speed department,foot or hand.(how would he react)He has no Judah on his record.

People need to understand . Pac only has faster hands because he's not measured . He just lets go. Floyd on the other hand approaches,measures,times then throws. It's a huge difference . Another key to factor in is that Manny fully commits to his shots. Floyd ever hardly puts his full commitment and body into a shot which really makes it hard to judge his speed and power. And last but not least Floyd has experience with speed. Manny doesn't . In conclusion one guy is all about control while the other is all about letting go.

 

About the same but Mayweather has better timing and defense so he'll look faster if they fight

 

Combos Manny is by far quicker but with the single, pot shot Floyd takes that in quickness. Both are fast as ****.

 

Pac is faster in every category.

The difference is that Mayweather is smarter, MORE PRECISE and HIS CONTROL OF RANGE AND PERFECT TIMING make him look much quicker than he is. The slow motion shots of him versus corrales are sick: every time corrales lowers his right hand floyd hits him with the lead left hook. His vision is superb and he does not miss openings. At one forty seven he is not that quick, and his work rate pretty much sucks too.

He looks faster against Marquez because he controlled the range with his feet more effectively than Pac did: he simply was not there at the end of Marquez' punches so he looked thirty times faster.

Pac's punches are faster and harder. They are fairly precise for the most part too, but Floyd's precision is simply better, his body mechanics more finely tuned, and his coordination better than the awkward raw speed of Pac.

Having said that the southpaw weird angles, relentlessness, and athleticism of Pac make it a very winnable fight for him, Floyd kind of sucked it up against Hatton in the first five rounds. Floyd's best weight was 140. He had a terrible run right after Corrales and at 135, then came out looking like gold with Ndou, and looked just about perfect at that weight despite the Corley lucky punch until he fought Sharmba, where the weight of 147 just kind of slowed him down and made him look much more ordinary.
