degale a gavin look very good its interesting t think how they would do if you chucked them in with top domestic fighter now. personally i think they would win
Gavin DeGale Groves Quigg Joe Murray Bellew Liam Walsh Saunders (lose some weight you fat *******...) I know a couple have won commonwealths but I don't see any reason why you'd have DeGale on a list on not Groves etc. They're still obviously prospects considering where they'd be aiming to go in their careers. Bellew has to drop a little in my rankings for that performance, even though it was against a better opponent than many on here have faced. Struggling to find 2 more, not seen Heffron. Not a bad 8 though, exciting times really.
Why are you not allowed be to be over 25? :think Prospects are about being at a certain stage of career progression not age.
Smith down a bit, Frampton up, Dickinson down a bit, Heffron down a bit, Crolla and Place up a bit. And after next Saturday, Ochieng would probably be in my top 15 as well (his first 6 rounder).
Despite winding up the Irish lads a bit I've not seen Frampton in anything other than ringside amateur video recordings so I'd like to see him properly. Him and Heffron I've heard a bit about so they'd be my tentative 2 to make a top 10.
Well actually looking at Rob's criteria, he shouldn't be ranked now (he won the Commonwealth...he's not a prospect any more ). I know Smith had his problems (hand injury) and was against a top domestic opponent, but I just wasn't that impressed when he fought Simpson. I didn't see anything 'special' from him. Obviously I hope he changes my opinion when he fights next :good
I think it's hard to separate Groves and DeGale right now. Both have decent wins for the level they're at. DeGale's gold medal doesn't factor into it since it's not part of his professional resume. Gavin's looking solid but Crolla's on a hiding to nothing.
I remember Crolla being super highly rated til that loss to Hamidi. He's bounced back tremendously well - but world class prospect he is not.
