The style does look a bit like younger Kostya who would do the same thing, have his hands low and use head movement to slip shots and counter.

But yeah thats what I really like about vitali and why I like his fights more than wladimir, he has great natural timing and he uses both hands its more entertaining and there are still a few things he does better than wlad, especially defense and dealing with pressure. He uses movement very well, side stepping and slipping the guys that pressure him and countering them. He does it better than Wlad

Wlad can't slip a punch for ****. His entire defense is predicated around being tall, and getting away with his feet.

Wlad can slip punches. He did it in alot of his fights. And Wlad´s footwork is much better than Vitali´s, Wlad technical skills are much better than Vitali´s.

I don't get your point: that's like saying Mike Tyson's style wouldn't have worked if he was 6'7". It might be true, but it's meaningless.

the gif was not an axample of vitalis footwork, but of his unorthodox technical ability!

terms of vitalis footwork, he uses his footwork very propotional. vitalis footwork may not look as pretty as Vlads, but it's still very good!

as far as I know, vitaly never trained mma. only kickboxing!

Yes, impressive, even though both were 38 and out of shape.

First of all, many people give Maywether credit. Many say he is the best boxer, the most skilled....
Many people just don´t like him, because he is , well, an ******* (sorry for my lack of a better word)

Second, Floyd doesn´t have a fan friendly style , but Vitali does imho (at least for an heavy weight).

When I think about it, Maywether fans should also appreciate Wlad, cause he has also an very technical, savety first style (no I´m not saying they have the same style, just a similar approach^^)

Third, this thread is about Vitali, so why don´t you go back to one of your countless "exclusive" maywether threads, you created.
