Showtime are doing great things for boxing, but boxers keep spitting them in their face by going to HBO and/or dropping out of tournaments that they put down millions and millions to make happen. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who are they going to get a replacement now? It won't be Bute, so Ward will probably end up having an easy fight as he's already through, and the replacement can't inherit Dirrell's points.
Showtime put out $50m, so now they should just call it off?! **** Bute, let Andre Ward fight the winner of Froch - Abraham and than the winner could go on to put Bute the hometown crook in his rightful place, a step below the top.
This tournament has become a total farce. But I give credit for the idea and trying to make the big fights. But seriously they need to stop replacing people, it's just an embarrassment. They shouldn't have brought Johnson in and they should not replace Direll. It is just a total joke now.
