I heard that GSP is using Enrique Ornealas as a sparring partner. Which means one thing, hes planning on standing with Koshcheck!! WAR GSP!
Jon Fitch was up and down like a yo yo he got dropped so many times :deal Only his will and heart stopped him getting KTFO in that fight
I hope GSP does stand with Kos , because Koscheck is not a good striker , he has very little head movement , he loads up his right hand , very rarely jabs and his footwork is very shoddy !! , his athletisism is what gets Koscheck out of trouble on his feet . And IMO if GSP wanted to go in there and produce a stand up clinic (the way Thiago Alves did) he could !!!!! Id be very suprised if he did though , and GSP training with Ornelas doesnt really mean he's gonna stand with Kos the whole fight , it just means GSP is refining his skill set in the different disciplines the way he always has ......... DAmn!! GSP is a beast. He and Silva are my favorite MMA fighters. To be honest they are the ones that keep my kind of updating on MMA. both of those guys are phenoms and its alawys fun watching guys with that skill and dedication.
People are disapointed at GSP not standing up with Alves and Hardy. But what would you do, as a very well rounded fighter, when you fight guys with great mma standup and terrible ground game. The guy just always brings the odds on his side. Fitch and BJ had good ground game, so he stood up with them, Alves and hardy not so much so they got thought a lesson on the gound. I see GSP mixing it up just like against fitch, going back and forth from stand up to ground and bullying kos against the fence. I'm really curious about how Kos will be able to use his ''amazing'' wrestling against GSP this time around.
