Bowe on his best night would win. ...But Bruno had more better nights than Bowe So I would say Bowe as long as the fight was in the 2 year period of his prime- any other time i'd lean towards Bruno.
Bruno had more better nights? Bowe lost once to Holyfield. Bruno lost to just about everyone he challenged for the title.
Bowe is too strong for Bruno over 12, but he will have his problems with Frank. It's when Bruno tires that Bowe can begin to impose his will, and take the fight to him in close. Bruno would be competitive and possibly get the better of it from a distance, and he had the physical strength to tie up anyone in close, he just couldn't remain as strong for over 8-10 rounds while Bowe at his peak had exceptional stamina for his size and was more of a natural in the ring than the often mechanical Frank Bruno. An out of shape Bowe would probably pull out a Witherspoon-Bruno type of win, looking terrible early but catching a tired Bruno with looping rights to score a comeback stoppage.
I think Bowe would of lost to the Witherspoon, Tyson and Lewis that Bruno faced and Bowe wasnt top level for a 7 year period that they encompassed. I would fancy the Bruno [which faced Lewis] V the Bowe that faced Hide or Golota
Prime for prime have to go with Bowe all day long, mid-late stoppage, but anything outside of Bowes prime I'm leaning towards Frank, even the one who beat McCall.
Bowe was a better version of Spoon. Bowe beats 96 Tyson and the Lewis who Bruno lost to. Were talking prime for prime here
bowe in 9 i think bruno would have success early with the jab but bowe would take over and stop him .
Call me nuts but I say Bowe has loads of problems with Bruno's jab. Bowe probably comes from behind to win a late stoppage but I give Bruno a live shot
