Personaly I dont give a **** what weight briggs come's in at ,
Vitali is going to knock the snot out of him Briggs has never faced anyone as tuff as Vitali.. although I think he will give it a go.

but other people are saying that this will be Vitali's toughest fight .
so is Briggs being underestimated ? I think maybe Emanual S is underestimating Vitali.

I think people are overestimating Briggs.

    Vitali is not Rob Calloway.

    Most are.

Most are giving him nearly no chance.

I would say, given his powere and Vitali's recent apparent decline, that Briggs has close to a 25 % chance here.

24 of those % in the first three rounds.

Maybe he is underestimated a bit. But he's fighting ironchinned Vitali (although I read a post yesterday claiming Vit has a weak chin :D), not Wlad or Haye but "trading out with LL" Vitali.
Maybe there's a point in what some poster wrote some time ago, Vitali and Wlad (as a real 2 headed monster) relying on eatchother who to take out (who could be a slight danger to the other, the other bro fixes), I know I would if I was in their position.
Briggs has a chance, but not a good one.

I don't think so. Briggs is the type of fighter who is absolutely destructive against C - level fighters, much like the post -prison Tyson. What has he done at the elite level though? He looked worse against Foreman than Axel Schulz IMO, was shut out by McCline, who is one of the major underachievers at HW of the past 20 years, was shut out by Ibragimov. After Peter and Gomez, a lot of people thought Vitali was reallyshot and slow, yet when Arreola brought the pressure, Vitali showed good footwork and movement. Vitali protects his body and fights to the level of his opposition. If Briggs brings pressure early, he will awaken the beast in Vitali.

Briggs is the world champ of the asthmatic!! He is fun and does for a good interview. That's all!! He will get KO by Vitali that's for sure.

Vitali never underestimates any of his opponents and that is what's important.

If Briggs is the toughest fight for Vitali, then people are overestimating Briggs and not underestimating him.

I think Emanuel is just hyping up the fight. That's it.

  12. Not at all. Briggs was average in his prime, now he's old and not in great shape to be taking on a world class athlete in Vitali and above all Vitali is just too smart and wise too lose a boxing match. Add to that Vitali has an iron chin.

Cris Arreola had a better chance than Briggs.

Briggs does'nt throw enough punches......he's going to be overwhelmed by Vitali's volume.

Briggs only chance is to land a lucky shot, but even then I dont think Briggs has the energy to follow up a big shot chance by being able to finish.

Lets face it, Briggs is a lazy fighter, and if he exherts any type of energy trying to go for the finish if he hurts Vitali, he's going to have nothing left by rounds end and wil be ripe for the pickings for a fighter with as good a stamina as Vitali.

The last quality opponentthat Briggs has beaten was way back in 2006 (Liakhovich). Briggs might still be winning his fights but his quality of opponent is not really something to brag about. Once the level of opponent steps up, Briggs will know that he doesn't belong in the rank of the elites.
