Fact is that Lewis was staggered by Vitali and it was Lewis who was done for with a very badly broken nose! Lewis retired rather than face Vitali. Vitali will fight Lewis right now, but Lewis still refused to get knocked out by Vitali.

Both Lennox and Vitali were amazing heavyweights. It was a close fight. It ended how it ended. We should be happy the fight took place. We need more highly competitive 1st tier heavyweight fights.

Yep, Vitaly staggered him, but he wasn´t able to finish him and the longer the fight went, the less Vitaly landed and Lewis had more and more success, landing bombs in the later rounds.

STFU with this **** already!!! Lennox better pray to whichever God he prays to that Vitali's eye got cut in that fight. He would've gotten his ass kicked otherwise.

Listen Lewis had been semi-retired for 3 years going into that fight. He had not fought in about a 16-18 months and came in at the heavyest weight of his career so it clearly was not him at his best. I think he lost the first few rounds and was down 4-2. He was definitly getting into that fight though and the ref was right to stop it. Klitschko fan boys can cry all they want about Lewis not giving him a rematch but a prime Mike Tyson would of taken that version of Lennox out in 2 or 3 imo. If you want to be great you have to take your chances and Klitschko can't say he did not get a chance. Nobody can honestly deny that the growth of mma has not affected the standard of boxers. In the 90's you had Tua, Mercer, Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, Hollyfield, Ibeabuchi, Morrison and I'm probably missing some. Don't get me wrong the Klitschko's are good but they woud never dominate the 90's.

At the same age Lennox was quitting the sport Vitali is still fighting. Briggs is fighting the oldest and most uninterested version of Klitschko so if he loses it doesn't matter. See how rediculous that sounds?
