Yeah i always like it when Spinks unloaded on big men like he did at times with Holmes and especially with Cooney. It showed heart, and belief in his own hand speed and strength.

Ezzard Charles staying in there with the raging Rocky Marciano - i just don't know how he managed to stay up - he shipped serious amounts of punishment in that one - infact I'd hazzard a guess he took more power punches in that than any other fighter in a heavyweight title fight - he looked like he'd been hit by a bus at the end of it

 

Robinson-Olson II. Ray knocked out Bobo in 12 the first time they fought in Philly, October of 1950. Nah, in all seriousness, just about anyone in the world would have had `too much respect` for Mike Tyson of 88, I dont hold that against Spinks & I really dont think a fully confident Spinks could have prevented the outcome, Tyson was quite literally a machine back then.

more recent times rodrigo guerrero inhis fight against vic darchinyan....i honestly don't know how the hell guerrero didn't go down even once much less stagger from the punches...vic was repeatedly ripping him with some flush shots all night...straight ****ing him up...i wanted the ref to stop the fight cuz i thought vic was going to kill that kid in the ring...thank god it wasn't the case but type of toughness is very admirable
