Here we go again, but let me educated the haters again ( like it will make a difference anyway). Floyd, is a 5 time world champ and 4 time linear champ. This is the second time he is the Linear WW champ of the world. Floyd, never fought at a catchweight and always dominated his opponents. The JLC was his only tough fight but Floyd prevailed and beat him again with no controversy. At the time Floyd fought his opponents they were either #1 contenders or world championships or top ranked opponents. Floyd has been in P4P top rankings since 1998. He is arguably the best fighter now.

Excellent Post! Floyd has a solid resume, and people have to understand that he was managed by Top rank 36 of his professional fights, so he didn't really even have full control over the match making.

I tell you what. If Floyd ever goes to the Bink, Ellerbe will bust him out guaranteed.

OK people I understand Cotto is held in such high regards to you Pac fans because it's Manny's 2nd best win. Heres what you need to understand about the green Cotto . He's only a 3 time champion in 3 weight divisions. 2 of those being Micheal Jennings and Yuri Foreman. He will get to be a HOF but no ATG. He also is a top fighter to win the most vacant titles in the last 10 years. A long time ago Top Rank had 3 major fighters. #1 was Floyd Mayweather Jr.#2 was Cotto . Manny wasn't even close to the radar back then because he was an ordinary fighter back. His rank was much like what Juanma is now. $19.99 ppv if he was PPV. Anyways just like how Bob built up Manny making Manny fight Floyd's leftovers to build Manny up Cotto was the first hopeful he employed this strategy with. Floyd would beat Chop Chop and Judah which were **** fights for Floyd but when Cotto beat those guys they were good wins for Cotto (much like how these idiots give Pac more credit for Oscar and Hatton). Cotto was even being matched to fight Gatti but Gomez beat him to it so Cotto fought Gomez . Floyd and Bob had a falling out(I believe it was either Schaffer or Haymon who bought Floyd out of his contract for only $750,000. You can understand why Bob is pissed not giving Floyd a fight with Oscar and instead offering Margarito) because unlike Manny who likes getting screwed out of his money he went on to be boxings biggest draw. From that day on Bob would never allow Floyd to fight his biggest draw Cotto . Floyd never ducked Cotto. In fact he said no 1 handed fighter with no defense will ever beat him. Lucky for Bob,Manny stepped up as Top Ranks #1 fighter even though a good percentage goes to GBP. Just wanted to fill you guys in that bit of info. As for discrediting resumes troll style. To the TS ,kettle meet pot.......

Barrera=Mannys best win. Barrera was on a 8 win streak. Already 50 fights into his career though, either way great job
Morales=outboxed Manny 1st outing to the point Manny blamed his gloves and I know you stupid *******s are going to say a blood test made him weak note that Manny failed to tell that to Merchant during the post fight interview for some reason because it sounds better than blaming your gloves. Anyways Morales moved up and got a clinic put on him by Raheem then immediately went back down to a weight he had trouble making (even stripped naked at weigh in) to rematch Manny and hence was the birth of the infamous weight drain strategy adopted and later mastered by Freddie Roach. Manny KO'ed 2wice but Morales was clearly a shell of himself and at the end of his career.
JMM=self explanatory . Got a draw the 1st outing . Waited 4 years to rematch JMM to age him. Many believe JMM won the 2nd fight.
    Diaz=punching bag.
Oscar=weight drained punching bag. The TS explained enough about him.
Hatton=damage goods coming off a turnbuckle and a slim escape from Lazcano who had Ricky on the queerest of streets. His trainer wanted Ricky to retire after Floyd . He tried to save Ricky from the depression he's struggling with now.
Cotto=coming off an ass whooping some would compare as a "a ton of bricks" landing on his face. No pun but anyhow followed by a shitty showing with Clottey. In essence a war torn damaged goods shell of himself. Manny's 2nd best win. Good job.
Clottey=a bum. Was Manny's 1 of 2 "prime"(JMMbeing the other) fighters Manny faced in his career.Didn't throw much but when he did he couldn't miss. Busted Manny's face up.
Margarito=Destroyed by Shane. Only accomplishments were destroying Cintron and Cotto and Golden Johnson. If you want to count Clottey youre more than welcome to. Already has 5 or 6 losses. In Freddies own words his last 2 fights were ****. Catchweight at 150. Tried to go down to 149.

The TS wants to talk about cherry picking and smoke and mirrors . It's easy to do the same **** with Manny and to tell you the truth Manny is better cherry picking guys with names. Alot of "old, shot, slow," fighters in his resume as well. As I said......

    Kettle meet pot.

haha good stuff....u found a way to discredit everyone of pac's wins...something *******s always doing in rebuttal to Floyd's career opponents..

Floyd is underrated INSIDE THE RING..PEOPLE CHOOSE TO IGNORE HIS SKILLS WHEN TALKING ABOUT HIM....

6 time world champ in 5 different weight classes

The simple fact is that, since becoming a champion, Pac has always fought the best, or if not, at least those in the top 5 in every weight division he climbed - from flyweight to welterweight.

Has Floyd ever fought someone that was not currently ranked within the top 5 after he became a champ? If you can truthfully say that he never did, then we gotta give him credit.

They both have had controversial opponents to fool us into thinking they are great.

Both have fooled us, can't wait till these 2 cherrypickers meet up... I don't blame pac for cherry picking his opponents he is just a puppet that Arum and Roach control...

Mayweather has always been a cherry picker once he began his reign.

Can't wait till these 2 cherry pickers meet... My money is on money... my heart is with Pac.

    i disagree really. i do.

he beat gatti, baldomir, odlh, mosley when they where champs and ranked at, or near, the top of their divisions.

hatton is a great win and i dont get why people discredit it.

and corley and judah were not far removed from being champs when they fought.

jmm obviously doesnt garner him much credit, but still a good performance by floyd.

it aint an atg career by any stretch, but i feel floyd above 135, achieved more than floyd below 135, and by a large margin.
