Ok I agree with that. But from my point of view, it seems rather strange to rank him 7th on this short list of fighters from THIS ERA alone. Then if he were to beat a single fighter in Mayweather, all of a sudden he's TOP 10 ALL-Time. This is your opinion and you're obviously entitled to it, just seems a little off to me.

Pimp you are so bitter, what is it? can you just not appreciate a figher? really cutting everytime Manny is on any type of Poll. Not saying the fighters are better or not , but Manny has faced many types of challenge, and to be even mentioned with these other fighters proves his calibre

The below may help you in your time of need, if you wish for another type of weapon to shoot up a mall let me know.

The standard AK-47 or AKM fires the 7.62x39m cartridge with a muzzle velocity of 710 metres per second (2,300 ft/s). Muzzle energy is 2,010 joules (1,480 ft·lbf). Projectile weight is normally 8 grams (120 gr). The AK-47 and AKM, with the 7.62×39mm cartridge, have a maximum effective range of around 400 metres (1,300 ft).

So you would still have SRL, Sweet Pea and RJJ in front of him for sure. Cool, just wondering.

I rank FMJ very very highly in terms of ability, skill & H2H tho... despite what Pac has achieved I just feel this win would trump any victory by a fair bit & prove to me he has the ingredients to join the Leonard`s of the world on the very top tier.

Ps. I did rank him 7th but at least 5 of that list were very very close, someone had to finish bottom, why not Manny ? ;)

got to be ray leonard for me, the most complete all round fighter of my life time.

some fighters are great in 3 or 4 areas like hearns or jones but have weaknessess in others, with leonard he had it all in the locker, he was complete imo.

Yes I do. SRL, Pea Whitaker and RJJ would still rank ahead of him IMO. They beat more ATG fighters and did so in a far more impressive style and were more skilled with the exception of RJJ. And RJJ is probably the greatest fighter Ive seen in my lifetime a great H2H fighter who would be a stylistic nightmare for pretty much anyone in the history of the sport. A boxing God with gloves who could land and KO almost at will. Although his resume prevents me from putting him ahead of the likes or SRL or Pea he is without a doubt one of the best ever to lace up a pair of gloves.

For absolute skill the best boxer I have seen in the past 30 years is Sugar Ray Leonard. Coming a close but decisive second is Wilfred Benitez. Before anyone starts to tell me Hearns beat him and he got knocked out a number of times , they have to remember I am basing this on pure talent. Next I have whitaker.

Hardest working fighters over the past 30 years and always trained like it is their first championship fight are Hagler , Hopkins and Floyd.

Most exciting fighters over the past 30 years are Duran , Tyson and probably Manny(just).

I can appreicate him but I will appreciate him a lot more when he starts fighting guys who aren't there to be hit and guys with speed. I'm not denying his greatness he's one of the best fighters of his era and you'll never here me take that away from him.

That's cool. TBH it's been a really long time since I've last dissected anyones career to really determine their places in the books. I'll wait until Manny is done fighting before I even attempt to do so.
