    I said from flyweight to welterweight. I also did not bash any of those wins. The issue I brought up was whether Floyd has consistently fought top 5 fighters since becoming a champ.

    Some of the fighters you named may have better "RECENT" resumes...BUT OVERALL ALOT OF THOSE FIGHTERS DO NOT HAVE THE OVERALL RESUME OF MAYWEATHER JR..

    AS FOR THE THREAD TOPIC WHICH CLEARLY POSTS "AFTER SFW" I WOULD SAY HIS LEGACY IS PRETTY GOOD..HE HAS BEATEN 3 TOP 10 LB 4 LB FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD AND TAKEN 5 TITLES SINCE LEAVING 130 WHILE ONLY HAVING 1 DISPUTED WIN WHICH HE PROVED ANY DOUBTERS WRONG IN THE LONE REMATCH OF HIS CAREER....:deal

    Floyds been pro what 15 years now. No spring chicken


    The whole basics of any build a star is littered with people who fought at the right time. A few times you get prime against prime.. But acting like this is the norm is absurd

    Ussually when prime fights prime.. The looser goes on the downard spiral if he wasnt already on his way.

    All this the best fight the best stuff is pointless rhetoric. And most of you are obviously historically researched enough to know it.

    vernon forrest 2 times in prime
    winky wright 2 times in prime
    anotonio margarito
    fernando vargas 2 times
    mayorga, cotto, and i will take his take a 26 year old Louis Collazo as better opponent than your sharmba mitchell, baldomir and JMM, or anyone else thats a fight away from retiring

    i mean if floyd fights washed up guys like sharmba mitchell, dlh, baldomir (who had been schooled 9 times already) and a 39 year old ex great fighter like shane....

    floyd fights great fighters...problem is

    Shane was great a few years ago and pulled out 1 final ass kicking to margo who floyd wasnt even gonna look in his direction at

    JMM is a great featherweight.....

    Oscar hasnt been great for a long ****ing time

    Gatti- a great name.....a great set of balls and heart...but 15 years and ring wars as a pro...you beat his shell......as did the contenders gomez

    tszyu,
    young versions of shane,
    vernon forrest
    winky
    cotto,
    margarito
    paul williams
    pacman


    cotto has time to fight shane, and margarito
    vernon has time for shane
    cotto and pac
    antonio had time for paul williams and cotto, kermit cintron
    pac had time for too many to name

    floyd has time for baldomirs, chop chops, henry brussels, sharmbas, and the over 35 club and featherweight division...while still finding time to not evenslap the toughest women around...he smacks the ones with no chance

    do you think 8 bucks an hour is pretty good at a job?

    do you think betty white is kinda pretty?

    do you think almost graduating high school is pretty smart?

    if so, then you think floyds last 8 years are pretty good without fighting

    cotto, pac, margarito, paul williams, young shane, young oscar, tszyu, bailey, winky, vernon, spadafora

    come to think of it, how do you fight that long and not accidently fight those guys??

    i agree with the rest of the names on ya list. but the ones i highlighted, he beat the people who beat them. corley beat bailey and mosley beat margo.

    plus for the young shane thing, they both pulled out on each other early on, everyone did want to see the fight when they fought.

    i think he doesnt warrant any stick for not fighting bailey, margo or young shane.

    rest of the list i agree with tho.
