    Immediately my thoughts were Louis - Farr. I think the other fighter has to be great as well, and as good as Farr was, I am not sure that great applies.

    I interpreted the thread as asking for great jabbing duels, not necessarily duels between ATG jabbers. Tunney-Loughran is not on any extant film (as far as we know). Louis-Farr is on film, and among the first such jabbing duels in HW Title history. (I did name Carnera-Loughran as a predecessor to Louis-Farr.)

    Nah I didn't mean that they both have to be greats [hope people didn't interpret that way, maybe I should have explained it better]. I just meant it in terms of the best jabbing contests, regardless of how good the fighter was. :thumbsup
